mines a restore from icloud too.
let me know if you find anything out.
I dont really notice much of a difference, other than the fact that my iphone4 is two years old, cycling several hundred times in its lifetime, and the i5 that's brand new...
So yea I kind of see a difference, but if both devices were brand new, you'll see similar results.
Tell us your secrets, what are your settings at. How do you use the phone and how often. I've been getting about ~7 hours of usage on wifi with web browsing, emails a little bit of games (15-20min) and some music
Most of my usage was music playing, some web browsing on mostly on LTE and text messaging a lot throughout the whole time.
My brightness is to auto, LTE and WIFI are set to on. Bluetooth is off.
I did use "Do not disturb" at work from 9 AM to 5 PM but I was still constantly unlocking it to change songs and reply to texts.
My battery is GREAT i'm not bashing it as i have an iPad for the big browsing. People are bashing there iPhones gaming, making call, web browsing and wonder why they are getting bad battery. I don't game on my iPhone so i'm fine for that.
Maybe some should give the phone a rest at times then they might see better battery life. Yes some do/may have faulty batteries but most in this thread use their iPhone like an all in one, so battery is bound to decrease faster giving the illusion of a bad battery.
Remember what Apple says on battery life isn't real world usage, plus is based on low settings etc
The battery life on my iPhone 5 on AT&T has been pretty good. However, I've noticed a trend that started recently. When unplugging my iPhone after its charge reaches 100% the batter percentage immediately jumps down to 97%. When I plug it back in it jumps back to 100%. It doesn't do this every time but it's happening more and more frequently. I also completely drained the battery before fully charging it for the first time. I guess I need to power cycle it one more time to calibrate it again.
