iPhone 5 Battery Life/Usage Screens [MERGED]

I think I have fantastic battery life. Although i don't have a screen shot to prove it, I had over 1 day on standby yesterday. I didn't charge my phone at all Saturday night. So thats all weekend I didn't charge my phone.

I have:
LTE on
Bluetooth on
Push Notifications on - Manually
location on for Maps/Weather only
iCloud backs up daily
Brightness at about 65% Autobrightness turned on
Wifi almost constantly

Overall I can't complain one bit about my iPhones battery. Compared to my droid that would be at 30% at 11:00am, this is a welcome change! :)

I got my iPhone 5 replaced Friday night, setup as a new phone, drained it till it shut off and then charged it till 100%

Now this screenshot is mostly wifi and some 3G...the ususal facebook and twitter...just turned on LTE at 5% as I got to work....I don't have LTE where I live.

What do you guys think of this battery life?

Good enough for me. Combo of LTE, WiFi, and 3G. Includes almost a full day of standby.

Just as a message to everyone that is having really bad battery life.

I did a restore from an iCloud backup when I originally got my phone. I was getting about 4 hours of battery before it was at 5% battery. I could actually watch the percent at the top of the screen go down it was crazy.

I did a restore on iTunes and set it up as a new phone. Re-synced all of the apps and set up iCloud again.

My battery life has almost tripled since then with the exact same usage.

This is what Apple is going to tell you if you try to bring the phone back, so backup your phone and give it a shot. If it doesn't work, then there is actually an issue with the phone.

What's your usage like now? I'm tempted to try this, but I have over 200 apps on my phone and I'm not thrilled about the idea of going through the hassle of having to select, install and organize them all over again if I do a new phone set up.

This is what my day is lookin' like thus far. Pretty damn good I must say. Battery for this phone has been stellar since I got it.

On my first full charge I got 12 hours usage/24 hours standby. 70% WIFI, 30% LTE connectivity. Brightness at 60% with no auto on. 1 Exchange mail account, notifications on.

Interested to see how it fairs after this first full cycle.

One thing I've noted is that this battery seems to be taking forever to charge full. It's at 91% and it's been charging for 3 hours after being completely drained. I'm hoping on the fact that it's the first full charge.

Took mine off the charger at 8 am and just now got the 10 percent warning with 4 hours of usage (LTE browsing, 30 minute call over LTE, Asphalt 7) and 6 hours standby. I think that's pretty bad, what do you guys think?

Here's mine from this morning:

I am curious - I sit next to our wifi router at work using WPA2 AES - and I am impacted by the poor wifi performance (in this case, wont even connect at all) how much drain the constant wifi cycling has on my battery.

If I go into Settings I can watch the wifi network cycle from "Company Wifi" to "Not Connected" right back to "Company Wifi" every two seconds. I don't know if it's worth noting that I never get the Wifi indicator in the status bar at the top of my phone.

I suppose I could try turning wifi off completely to see what impact that makes, but I don't want to rely on Cellular Data.

That's pretty damn bad, but I'd need to see your settings to be completely sure.

Bluetooth off, Location services on, 2 mail accounts set to manual, Notifications on, Brightness at about 35%, Wifi off.

I thought the same, I think I'm going to restore as new and if that doesnt work Ill set up an appointment with Apple.

Try setting screenbrightness on a lower point. Iam having mine at 20% now. I dont mind really.

Mine was really bad, went from 100% to 40% in 8 hours after just minimal use. Last night I let the phone to down to 0% and turn off and then charged to 100% and now 16 hours later am still on 67%.
