What are you talking about? I see nothing. What time mark is thus shown ?

Anyways, how is this different than the Al backed iphone 1 original back?

55 seconds in... looks horrible even worse then the other sites phone

Is it just a coincidence that both Pocket-Lint and Stuff.tv are both UK reviewers? Could this be just a UK/European issue?

So glad I chose White now

Me too

When I was about to pre order on Apple's website, I knew it was going to be white, because I had a feeling watching the keynote that the black anodized finish was going to be an issue.

From Engadget, not sure if this is the same or just reflection but the upper edge of this one seems to be showing some early signs...

and a small one on the top left above the power button?

Yes Europeans get the crap versions of the iPhone!
Sorry but I think there is no difference between "European" iPhones and "American" iPhones....

Considering there are three different models, due to the differing LTE bands, there just might be a difference.

Maybe it is a blessing that my pre order did not go through.

I really want the black, but had reservations, and this seems to really push me towards white.

I have had white all along, and the black looks really sleek, but i have total OCD about this stuff

You're right, there's no difference in the finish and build, they are all the same.

Sorry I don't see any marks or scuffing at all, at any of those time marks. Looked very closely too. I see a normal reflective sheen but nothing else.

for my job i have to use photoshop every day and i can assure you that is absolutely not photoshopped.

I agree, I've been using photoshop for years and I can guarantee you that those scuff marks have not been manipulated.

Everyone just chill :)
The black version is just so sexy! I think batman would use it!
I am definitely getting the black one, no matter what people say in this thread. (The most of them are the guys that bought the white iPhone and trying to make us feel bad because we didn't ;))

I don't see anything wrong with that iPhone in the Stuff.tv YouTube video. Just reflections of the light bouncing of the chamfered edge. People do know the edge is diamond cut for a mirror sheen and isn't matte black like the aluminum back and sides right? It seems like people are trying so hard to find scuffing that their brains are actually making it up.

FWIW, I was reading a review thread somewhere with a hands on for the iP5, and one thing that the reviewer did mention was that there WAS an issue with the silver showing dings in the black already just in the demo model they were looking at.

IF this is for true, it would indeed, suck. I hate white phones. OK, not hate, but don't like...

I don't give a poo what anyone else says, I think the bumpers look ugly as hell. I think I would rather shove it in an Otterbox if that was the case.

If I do get an iP5, since I will want it for a couple of years, I will likely break down and get the white I guess. I just find black so much better for media viewing.

I don't think these are scuff marks at :55-1:06 in video.

I feel like the people here who are saying "you people are wrong Apple wouldn't make a product that scratches" are just hopefuls in denial. Sadly I think the black aluminum WILL scratch. One guy said 2 out of millions... actually it's more like 2 out of dozens as only dozens of people have had the iPhone 5 to test out.

I'm switching to the white model so I don't have to worry about it. And yes the black model is sexier but I'm also one of those who dumps his phone once a year for new one so I like to keep my stuff nice and shiny. Even my white model will be getting a leather textured skin on the sides and back. Not just for protection but I like the look and want to avoid the scratches.
