iPhone 5 Cases/Skins/Accessories Order Thread

My Kay's Cases came today, not bad for the money but not quite on par with Incipio. Oddly, the clear case came with a screen cover and yet the identical black case did not.

Polycarbonate is not a soft Jelly case it will be a bit more rigid than the ones I believe you are looking for but from my experience I don't believe it will damage your device so long as you clean it out every so often. Id say its a good buy for 19.99

How does that black iPhone pictured above have silver bands and back? THAT'S what I want my iPhone 5 to look like.

I bought IMHO the best film for the phone. I had has a Power Support Matte on my 4 since I bought the phone and have had zero problems with it. I like it over the glossy because it shows no smudges or fingerprints. Tru Protection is offering the identical product shpping soon. It was $14.95 plus shipping.

It is IResQs exact to spec build of the IPhone5 fully Ghost Armored. We used it at Ghost Armor to design our kit. I wish it looked that way too :(
 
Posted this earlier in the Monoprice thread, but here is the Monoprice case I got in the mail today. I love it, pending it fits the actual phone well.

Its a 2 part case, 1 part is a bumper and the 2nd part is a hard shell that goes over the bumper. It is solid and fits together perfectly, and its nice and slim.

The black is sold out for now, but they have a white one as well. Great deal for under $5.

I went with Crystal Clear over Oleophobic...why would you say Oleophobic is better? I don't mind wiping off finger prints etc...I just want something that looks like there's no screen protector on it.

Quoting myself. The case I ordered on the evening of the 17th came today. Looks great! It has a soft satin-ee feel to it, but is not hard and definately not rubbery. Even with free Parcel Post (=slow) shipping it came today (To So Cal).

Now if my phone would leave Louisville and head West, I would be really happy!

^^^^ DO NOT USE HARD SHELL CASES ^^^^^ Soft and Rubbery is ALWAYS the way to go. Make sure you clean them out every now and then otherwise dirt, and debris can get between the case and the device and can basically create a sandpaper effect that destroys the device. I have been in this industry for a LONG time. Any questions about any products I can field them... just not about Ghost Armor unfortunately due to MacRumors rules and regulations. :cool:

That is not an iPhone 5. Is that a CGI pic? The sides and back are wrong
 
Looking for something like a translucent gray bumper case. All I have seen so far have been solid black or white. Anyone see anything like that?
 
So far I think I may go for the Casecrown Lux Glider.

I was looking at the Elago S5 Slimfit 2 as it looks like a great case, covers the edges etc, however I contacted them and it provides no front lip to protect the front screen. I'd like a small lip.

So if the Casecrown Lux Glider also allows me to put on a front screen protector then I'm sold.



With all the rumours about scuffing the edges of the new iPhone 5, I don't see how people think this 'armor' will be good enough. Okay, it protects the flat surfaces but it's the edges that take the most hits.

Looks neat. Are the insides of the bumper soft, so as not to scratch the sides of the phone?

The Apple bumper scratched the aluminum sides of my 4.:mad:

Anybody know if Wal-Mart, AT&T Store, Verizon Store, etc. have iPhone 5 cases for sale today, before the actual rollout date? I'm getting my ip5 delivered tomorrow and would like to have a temp case to put it in.

I have the same question, except add "screen protector" as well.

I was thinking of going to best buy or at&t today to see if i can get any screen protectors and/or cheap cases since my real case will not be delivered until october. will i have any luck?

Just went by the local AT&T store, local Verizon store and local Office Depot (we don't have a Target or Best Buy in our small town) and they had nothing for the IP5. The person at AT&T told me that they had a "bunch of cases" for the IP5 but were not allowed to sell them until tomorow.

I went to Att, Verizon and Radio Shack; all were selling cases and film.
Best Buy was the only one without any IP5 accessories out.
