My favorite iPhone design was the first one. Bring back the aluminum and rounded sides. It's not comfortable to hold this iPhone 4 brick!
If true, there are going to be HUGE lines for this.
And when has Apple followed good engineering design. They rather look pretty than listen to their engineers and tell them to deal with it. I believe their are multiple reports of Apple own engineers speaking out saying they told them that the design of the iPhone 4 Antenna was bad idea but instead they were told to deal with it and do it. Nothing the engineers could do about it. Apple choose to make their phones look pretty instead of function. Apple is a Form over function company.
Meh. It's an Apple. Really getting bored of the Apple look and iOS. To me they just look really cheap now. Already made my decision to get the Galaxy S2. Sorry but if Apple sticks with the 3.7inch screen, they're only gonna fall further back. Let's be honest, the iPhone isn't that great as a phone. It never was. Transmission, reception, and voice quality are poor to average. There's a reason why the iPhone 5 is being delayed. Apple took one look at the current competition and went back to the drawing bored. And that's fine. Any good company should do just that. I've never been a full on blind fanboy, hence my move to the GS2. At the same time, I don't want Apple turning into the next RIM.
I love tech that's on the bleeding edge. Right now for me, that's hardware. The tangible undisputed specs. And Samsung's high end GS2 oozes bleeding edge tech. The camera and 1080P video is ridiculously amazing. I'm not the emotional type that gets all caught up with the brainless "it just works" crowd. You know what?, they all "just work." If you don't know how to adapt to any OS, then maybe you just shouldn't even use any device at all. Seriously, they're all easy to use and get used to. Don't get me wrong, Apple to me is still a great brand, but for me the honeymoon is over so to speak.

Unless you take into consideration that not a single one of those phones sell even remotely as well as the iPhone.
Oh you mean the aluminum back that was ruined by a huge piece of black plastic for the antennas? What an aesthetic wonder that was!
And ROTFL at all the solemn pronouncements(as usual)stating what Apple will and won't do with utmost certainty. From the same people that a year ago were saying that the "found"iP4 absolutely positively was not an Apple creation and anyone who thought otherwise was a moron.
Just ridiculous.
And no I have no opinion on the accuracy of this rumor. We'll see soon enough.

For anyone that hasn't read each page, here's the summary-
iPhone 4 owners- There is no way they will re-design it too look like this. A step back from my iPhone 4. The new iPhone will look like the iPhone 4 with upgraded internals and be called iPhone 4s
Everyone else- Sign me up, love the new design.
Par for the course I suppose..
If the iPhone 5 were to gain a larger screen, how would Apple keep Retina without changing the screen resolution. If the resolution were to change, that means that all of the apps written for iPhone 4 would appear blurry, right?
I hope it's not drastically thinner and lighter. The 4 at the minute is just right, nice to hold feels right.
Maybe It's just my man handling sausage fingers but I wouldn't like to see it similar to the iPod touch.

Thinner= harder to hold, more fumbling and drops.
not a valid argument there. Here it is look at the sells of screen sizes.
3.5 of the iPhone is on the small size. Larger screen sizes are what the people really went.
Look at all the people saying they would love a 4 in iPhone.
4in is the sweet spot for me.
