While I love the look and feel of the iP4, I still think I slightly prefer the 3GS in those respects. The smooth edges and rounded back felt nicer in the hand.
So since the final product would obviously look different from the mockup, I like this.

That is one ugly mock up. The teardrop design looks downright horrible if you ask me. I like the bigger screen but it looks to fat and squat, which does not fall into sleek and sexy Apple. An area for gestures over the home button is interesting.

Larger screen would be obnoxious

The iPad is already doing quite well for itself, I don't see any reason why a larger screen on the iPhone is necessary. The phone fits fine in my hand. Anything bigger would be obnoxious. I don't want to give this picture too much credit because it looks pretty fake but I really hope they don't increase the size of the phone.

Why would Apple go back to plastic side buttons? And the super-scratchy metal back? And that teardrop design can be seriously annoying to hold it and to talk with it. I think it's just this "Josh" guy attracting attention. Though I would love the extra screen space, all other changes seem horrible.

The whole idea with that render (and no ones hiding the fact that it is fake) is that the size of the phone would not increase. A 3.7" screen can fit inside the current iPhone frame.

But that render is awful, I can't see Apple going with differently sized upper and lower bezels. The lack of symmetry makes it look appalling.

Introducing the iPhone 5. Now featuring the A5 and an 8mp camera. As far as design goes, its a marginal antenna redesign at best.

It's a image based on a SKETCH. I'm sure they used an iPod touch as chopping material rather than to fire up C4D or Maya and make a more plausible render.

If thats the design I will wait a month or two... Thats how long it will take samsung to rip off the design then i will have the best of both worlds. A sleek design and the OS that I love.

To be honest, I find the iPhone 4 quite hideous in pictures, but much more attractive in person...

There is no way it could be that thin.

Agreed. You better believe all Phone manufacturers strive to shave even tenths of millimeters for ultra thinness in these things, this is simple too much of a leap to even be considered. IPhone 5 will probably be a slightly redesigned 4 perhaps with the screen to the edges as so many rumors point to.

Hey, androidtard. Go to apple store to replace your battery. It cost $79.

Well thank you for telling me how to spend my money. I don't plan on blowing any more money on a device that is so out dated. I would rather sell it in the next couple of months for whatever I can get for it, and put that towards the GS2.

I must add, one of the downsides of owning an Apple product is being grouped with childish fanboys like yourself in the courts of public opinion.

If Josh was dumb enough to believe the iPad would have SD built in then I sure as hell don't believe these rumors.

I'm looking forward to the same iPhone 4 design. I don't want to have to buy all new accessories every year.

Get a life loser. Why don't you go to an Android forum if you hate Apple so much?

That would really suck. Most of my friends like the iPhone 4 because it looks solid with that design. The Home button looks extremely funny in my opinion.

Its fake, there is not anywhere to plug in the 30pin or the micro USB, look closely at the bottom of it there should be at least a bulge or something to allow you to plug it in.
