I would assume that if you decide for pickup then you just walk in after open and they have a device set aside for you.

At7T & Apple still down here in FL. Bought use Apple App on my iPad 3. Took 15 MIn to buy two 64 5's White & Black. They did not give me shipping options or apple care options? I wonder if I can call later or tomorrow and change the shipping addres to work?
Funny little problem
Anyone else get a repetitive "connection timeout" with the app? Mine went through 15-20 iterations of retrying and then finally snapped out of it.
Whatever, ordered. Done. Odd that apple web store is still not up for me and that ATT doesnt work either (well, the last part isn't so odd).

sweet ... store.apple.com still down, but ordered on the iPhone through the store app - only problem I encountered was that I had to type my password probably around 20 times since it kept having connection problems, but once the password was in, things went smooth.
THey automagically upgrade this to overnight. It'll deliver on launch day or before, don't worry!
Process was not too hard on the AT&T Website. took about 20 mins. I was afraid it would be a lot longer.
Ordered the White 64GB via the App. Wish I had know Chrome was working because I could have used my corporate discount code.
Wasn't able to complete the order using the app, Apple.com, and Att.com
On the bright side, Apple gave me a reservation number and reserved an iPhone. All I need to do is fill out the carrier information later

done! Apple's website ended up being the fastest for me.
The app store kept hanging at checkout. I ended up doing two separate transactions for our two lines, because the app store told me I couldn't get two phones in the same cart. So, when I finally got through on apple.com, i just did one at a time to be safe.
Once I got through, both went relatively quickly, with the biggest lag at signing into my account. Phew! So happy it went relatively quick and easy this year!

No joy so far on the Apple store, but I flew through on Verizon and already got my confirmation email. Now I can go back to sleep.

What if I want a factory unlocked one? It's asking me to choose a carrier...I don't want a carrier!
