iPhone 5 Now Available for Pre-Order

Easiest upgrade ever. Took 5 mins, to setup two new lines on Verizon's site to get one Black and White 32GB models. I'm not sleepy, since I was expecting a couple hours to order.
 
Yes....many people got the reserved thing...you got the phone...just be sure to complete the transaction tomorrow !

Family Plan - Sprint - Cant Pre Order iPhone 5

Mother F'ers at Sprint and Apple. Theres no option to "Add an line to an existing account" when selecting Sprint as your carrier. WTF, they forgot about people who already have accounts and are looking to add on a line. We used to be able to do it before, so why not now? Why can't we preorder like everyone else?????

The option to pickup in store on the apple site was grayed out... It said next to it that you can go to a store starting at 8:00am September 21st to buy an iPhone in-store.
 
Put safari in private mode

If you put safari in private browsing mode the apple store works fine

I got the same thing! SO ANNOYED coz now I can't keep trying to refresh and buy. This locked up my number!
 
Apple's website says it can't get my information from AT&T so instead all I have are reservations for 2 phones. Doesn't even confirm what model in the reservation. When I try to purchase again, it says I already have a reservation. And I can't cancel the reservation. So I have to hope the reservation is correct. Crappy that I can't change/cancel it once it is made. Really peeved here. Plus AT&T site still won't let me upgrade through it.
 
The Apple store is still down for me. I tried ATT.com and it kept crapping out too so I tried the trusty Apple store app on the phone. Worked like a champ. Done. Now back to bed for a couple of hrs.
 
Smooth UK Checkout

Hi guys, I just checked out fine through the UK website. Having not wanted to waste more time with Apple ID, I checked out via "guest".

Order is "processing" and provided me with an order number. That is it right?? Payment has gone through ok?

Regular site as slow but sure.

Got my 32GB Black AT&T iPhone 5 all pre-ordered!

As soon as I got my email confirmation the store went down for about a couple minutes and then came back up when I looked again. PHEW! Good thing that didn't happen while the order was going through! LOL

Good bye my loyal iPhone 4... You served me well! You shall have a heroes resting place next to my original iPhone!
 
Verizon

Got mine on Verizon in 2 minutes....the site still shows delivery by the 21st.....go to Verizon!
 
After twenty minutes of not being able to access either AT&T or the Apple store I downloaded the Apple Store App for iPhone and got my order through in seconds.

Still cannot access AT&T or Apple store.
But I got mine. I got mine!!:D:D:D

Ordered from my iPhone app. Took about 30 mins but I pushed through. Got a confirmation email too. Sweet!!!
 
was able to easily order 2 iphone 5's with no site slowdown. Just annoyed that I cannot pick them up in store.
 
I am traveling in Asia. Ordered from my US iPhone 4S. Ordered at 12.01 Pacific and a confirming email at 12:03 64GB AT&T. Black

Can not wait to upgrade my black 64 GB Sprint iPhone 4s to the new 64 GB iPhone 5... I wonder if they will fix the crashing issue that has plagued the last five iPhones...
 
Firefox showing store - Safari not???

Strangely enough, Firefox is giving me the store while Safari still shows "Back Soon" message.

Shipping address

I live in PA, just ordered one. The phone is on my brothers account and it default shipped to his address and I could not change it. Can this be changed to ship to my house here in PA? Do I need to call 1-800-MY-APPLE?

WHO ELSE IS PUMPED!? WOO!!

With AppleCare+ you usually have to get it at the time you buy the phone. This happened last year at launch date and they did a workaround so that people could add it within 30 days.
