I had my parents house address on mine and couldn't change it when I purchased my phone. I will wait till it clears and I think you can change it then.
Got through on the Apple Store app. Very easy and quick. I was able to purchase 3 out of the 4 phones I intended to buy (girlfriend, dad, mine, and sister)
But by the time I got to my sister, they ended up just sending me a reservation # since they couldn't connect to AT&Ts eligibility server

Very true...there is going to be a lot of little boxes on everyone's delivery truck, that get delivered to every other door in the US!
I ordered a Verizon phone, transferring my old phone number from AT&T. I hope they don't switch numbers untill the 21st or I'll be without phone service.
got both my orders in on apple store (16GB and 32GB, both black AT&T)
chrome got it almost right away. safari probably because of my history not cleared was stuck on that "be back soon" message.

After 4 years I decided to finally give up my grandfathered unlimited (but throttled) data on AT&T for better coverage through Verizon. No more waiting up to a minute for my phone to connect after I dial!
The Verizon store was ready 5 minutes before midnight in So Cal. Apple Store down until about 12:25 for me. Was going to carry my number from AT&T, but did not have my account number. Could not get onto my AT&T account to get it.
Now that I have the phone ordered, I'll straighten out the details later. I checked my credit card and it was not charged right away. I wonder if they wait until it ships to charge it, or if they are just saving bandwith/time by not processing the cards immediately.

We have the AT&T Family plan, my wife has the main number, and mine is an addon line. With her order everything was fine, it kept the same text/voice/data plans.
With mine it wanted me to switch my text from the $5/200 to the $0 or $20 text plan. Did anyone else run into this? I'll have to call AT&T to get it set back, but at least it looks like my grandfathered unlimited plan remains in place.

I did not see this as an option while I was checking out. But I was in a hurry to get it ordered before it stopped working... and so I could go back to bed for another hour and a half.

Safari on the Mac wouldn't work as the Apple Store website kept showing as down, so I downloaded and installed Firefox and put it in Incognito mode, and voila!!
I was able to order a sweet Factory Unlocked 64 GB iPhone Black/Slate and AppleCare+ from Apple Canada using a Canadian address and my USA credit card!! I hope to have this puppy up and running in the USA before the month is out!
Went back to Safari and it still showed the Apple Store website as down after reloading the page many times. Go figure.

I got mine Ordered via Apple's website. Tried several times on AT&T website but kept getting error say site down for maintenance.

Except for those that have business accounts with AT&T, they have to order thru att.com
You should be able to. I just changed mine. What until the Order Page says "Processing Items" and then use the edit info option.
