anyone who got a 9-21 delivery date got the first wave of orders. this is normal for apple they order 10 million iphones to be delivered on a certain date then they place another order when they have sold the first. that is a normal buisness practice and consideRing the parts supply line problem everyone should have expected this

3:53am, AT&T 32gb black for me, two weeks delivery:mad:
Both via apple.com... Had to place separate orders...

Have they not made that option available yet?

I know 8am starts in store preorders, but I was hoping to reserve online to only have to do the in store frenzy once on pickup day, not twice with reserving in person too.

I noticed the same thing. Stock for shipping pre-orders must be different from store stock (reservations).
Assuming Apple will give you the ability to reserve one at the store next week.
 
In less than one hour (56 minutes to be exact), shipping slipped from the 21st to 2 weeks. This sucks for me because I tried to buy at 12:01 and apparently having a passcode on your account prevents Apple from verifying your info. So I had to wait for AT&T to un-eff their website/servers so I could delete my passcode, so I could order my phone. Damn, what a PITA.

At least its done now and I can go to bed.

YEAH!!! Me too!!!! But when I was purchasing it it said 9/21 .... then the confirmation said that!!!????
 
I preorder 4 white iPhone 5 with no problem with shipping est 21-25.
I think apple is prepare this time.
Starting to worry for my Fd :p

So they were sold out in 30-45 min...I am sure people in china are pulling 18-20 hours shifts. I agree with you, but sometimes you can only make so much in certain period or you can only get so many LCD screens or what ever.

Does anyone know how long it took for 4S to sell out? How many they sold on day one (4S)?

I was on hold with AT&T, someone picked up and I caught them in mid sentence trying to tell someone else they weren't able to upgrade. I then got hung up on. Then I called again and got hung up on after 20 minutes on hold. This is freakin great...

Just talked to Sprint, they haven't accepted one order as of this time.

I got disconnected a few times, I stopped calling, would think the phone company wouldn't have these kinda problems.

Apple Store app

The Apple Store was down for me well passed midnight PST so I went on my iPad and happened to check the Apple Store app and it worked.

Waiting for my iPhone 5 64GB Slate unlocked.

1 hour and 5 minutes after launch ~

Ordered from Apple.com with AT&T info with zero problems. I had to order my wife's phone and then mine in 2 separate orders, though, as it wouldn't let me do 2 at once unless one was unlocked.

Currently the shipping is at 2 weeks.

I couldn't change the address (which I need to do) but when I log in it says I can do that after the order has "processed." So I'll try that again in the morning.
