iPhone 5 Now Available for Pre-Order

I ordered my 32GB iPhone 5 ATT at 5:30 a.m. CST with no problems. Ordered the wife's 16GB White iPhone 5 at 6:30 a.m. CST with no problems.

What number you call or where'd you find it? Mine won't even allow me to see iPhones as an option to buy if I try it through their webpage.
 
:apple: If I get the iPhone 5 and start a new phone service account does it have to be 4g?( more expensive than 3G):apple:

Woke up at 2:50 AM

Apple's site was down, went to AT&T and they were working early.
Took 5 minutes and I got my 32GB.
Went back to bed.

Glad I did, now it is 2 weeks.

I ordered about an hour ago from this part of AT&T.

I wish I knew this, It would have saved me hours of non-sleep trying to login at 3:01a.m. EST after their website crashed!!!
 
So I'm a noob lol someone that knows answer my question plz do I have to get a 4g plan for the iPhone 5? I'm getting two year contract from either Verizon sprint or AT&T . I. Currently have a 3GS in edge <I know!!!!!!!!>
 
I'm curios.. has anybody placed an order that says it would be shipped after september 21st? I'm just curious if AT&T's wording that it's set to be delivered by the 21st means that it should be on time. Does anybody have a different date?
 
Lowest plans for iPhone 5 on AT&T is $85 for 1Gb of data , Verizon $80 300mb of data and Sprint is unlimited for $70.

I'm ordering the iPhone 5 but can't decide which to get(plan) and or if I should wait for unlocked iPhone 5 and just put on t-mobile
 
Verizon is salivating at all the new possible people that will go over their data caps now. Since a portion of the people who have the unlimited grandfather plan are now losing it to get the new iPhone, this helps verizon get everyone onto a plan with a data cap. Just between the standard data use and now include the data from using facetime over the LTE connection will get people to go over their data caps in shorter time.

I would rule Sprint out. Sprint's 3G network is piss poor in most areas and their LTE roll-out is, well, piss poor as well. They are missing their targets and in areas where they "rolled out" LTE, the roll-out was half-assed with limited coverage and plagued with inconsistencies.

i managed to get one order for my iphone thru but had a reservation number given to me when i tried to get the phone for my wife (both upgrade eligible). just managed to complete her order, but mine will deliver 9/21 and her's is listed as delivery in 2 weeks. i'm not positive those people with reservations maintained their place in the queue as the apple email promised but we'll see what happens.

The prices I listed are from the apple website on the pre order page before transferring number from tmobile ....but u say that price for sprint is 3G is it also 3G for the verizon and AT&T plans? Or 4g for those last two

First one, then now both my phones are processing now (wife's I had to order separately; stupid iphone app only allows one phone to be bought at a time).

Just reserved mine thru AT&T

So I just placed my order around 0830 eastern time. I bought it thru the AT&T business website since I'm a business customer and looks like everything went thru ok. E-mail says deliver should be 09/21 so I hope it's true. Worst case scenario I'll just cancel and try to wait in store.
 
Seven hundred quid for the unlocked 64GB version. Wow £700. Jeez no wonder they make so much profit. I'd love to buy the iPhone 5 but at that price I don't think so. I thought it would get cheaper over time as most things do but I'm sure that is more than the equivalent iPhone 4s last year. Oh well never mind it's only a phone I guess. I prefer my Mac anyway.
 
got mine pre-ordered at 12:05am this morning... But is it just me or did not give option to order AppleCare+ cause no point did it ask if I wanted to add AppleCare+ and if clicked "Continue Shopping" and manually go find it myself there is no Buy Now/Add-to-Cart button...


So I was unable to order the AppleCare+ with it so gonna have to call Apple today to see if they can add it to my order.

According to the web site you have to go into an Apple store within 30 days to add AppleCare+:
