I just scored two 32GB, Black, Verizon at First Colony. Hate to drive there, wish they were 16GB, but... at least I don't have to play this anymore. Off to bed.
This was my 7th night for those keeping track.
I put them both on AMEX using express checkout so now I have to deal with trying to get the stores to return them and put them on gift cards instead.

I've been refreshing the checkout page the last 10 minutes only to realize that the Minnesota stores don't even have any

I saved my credit card information with express checkout. I added the iPhone I wanted to my cart after choosing carrier and plan. At around 9:45pm est the system allows you to pick a store to pick up your phone but it will say unavailable. I keep clicking on "Locate" until one become available. Then be quick to check out before someone else beats you to it..lol

And is it 10 PM EST? Or 10 PM based on where you live?

After weeks of trying I found a black 16GB GSM iphone 5.
It was at 10:15 est local time and for some reason tonight seemed like every store around me had them in stock.
I was quick to add it to my cart and checkout before it was gone.
Going to go grab it in the morn. Hope the send me the confirmation email early.

I just checked each color/size possibility for the AT&T iPhone 5 and it looks like none of the Minnesota stores got any. Hopefully tomorrow they'll get a big shipment lol .....

I picked up my i5 today but there was scuffs and the backplate looked like it had an adhesive problem. I told the employee but they had none to swap with. I don't really want to return it because it takes so long for the eligibility to reset. Does anyone know a more efficient way to return and buy again?
I am reserving one for a color swap. I was told that I could reserve one online saying add a line or something, then when I pick it up, they'll cancel the reservation and just swap out phones. I'm sure they could do the same for you.

Ohhhhh I get it. When I put one in my cart, it doesn't say "pick up unavailable" anymore, but lets me locate a store. But there will be no stock in any store until they update the inventory at 10 PM where I live. I'm kinda nervous though I want one really bad and have been trying for a while. Oh well, there's always tomorrow if I fail today.
Yes! Finally! Secured a 32GB black AT&T model at the Roseville Apple Store. I saw a number of other stores on the first page (Sacramento CA area) with green lettering but didn't even pause a second to read the list. Ordered as fast as I could after losing two in cart on past attempts.

Finally got a black VZW 32 gb tonight. Lots of inventory. I'm in LA, and as of now Century City and 3rd Street in SM still have it. Looks like a lot of VZW phones were released.
I've been trying in the Bay Area for about 5 nights now for a 64 gig black. I try exactly at 10 pm (sometimes a little before, sometimes after). Not one phone ia available for pickup in over 75 miles and 15 Apple stores. So I put in an LA zip code. Same thing .... nothing. Then I tried a San Diego zip code .... nothing again. Which means that basically at 10 pm, there isn't one black 64 gig iPhone available in most of California. And it's now been out for well over a month. Now I'll admit I'm a huge fan of Apple and own most of their products but come on, I still can't find one within 500 miles of my house?? There's seriously something wrong here. It's very disappointing that Apple didn't gear up for this release properly and also didn't have a better handle on quality control so that a fair number of these phones had to be taken back for an exchange which makes it even harder to get one.
