iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

Yeah, I need voice and data. And primarily need it when I'm away from the office.
 
I have spent a week now trying to get a ATT White 64Gb iPhone 5 without any luck...this is driving me nuts.
 
Lost phone

I lost my phone today, I was wondering can I use the Reservation System to get another one at full price?

I found mine at 10:15PM.
It took a few weeks with having zero luck but finally found one about 45 minutes away.
Dont give up, they're there eventually.
Maybe the color, carrier or storage amount that you're looking for will not be available tonight or the next day but sooner or later you will get it.

A few weeks? Ouch, that's very discouraging actually!

I just started yesterday:(
 
how do you buy the phone at the unsubsidized price through the reservation system?

I can't seem to find the option to purchase device only

You can't.
You have to buy subsidized. Then when you get there you tell them you want to cancel it and purchase full price.
 
Not a brag...merely a data point:

Landed one (32GB Black AT&T) at the Atlanta Perimeter Store.

Looks like the lack of them last night are kind of being made up for tonight.

Same model in stock at Mall of Georgia (Buford, GA), SouthPark (Charlotte, NC) and St. Johns Town Center (Jacksonville, FL)...as of this post anyway.

Edit: swamyg1 - I started yesterday too. Found one today. Persist. About a week ago, found one for a relative after about 4 days of trying (in Tampa, FL).

I just picked up a black 64GB AT&t available at Chicago's North Michigan store! (And I'm up for renewal so it only cost $399!)

It is October 30th

I should note that the availability updated at 9:58 instead of 10.

BTW: this was only my third try. Sunday I didn't know what I was doing, nothing came up (in the Chicagoland area) yesterday, and today it came up! It wasn't available at my closest store, but N Michigan Ave in Chicago is a "flagship" store so I guess they get more.

Hi, looking for a clear and definitive answer.

Am in the US for two days in three weeks time.

Looking to pick up two of the 32gb Iphone5, unlocked, contract free (to take back to the Cayman Islands).

From this thread, can someone confirm for me that my best option is :
- Try to reserve online the night before (around 10pm)
- Reserve as if I am a new customer of either AT&T or Verizon (does it matter ? just need a GSM system phone)
- If I get phone(s) reserved (can I reserve more than one?), go to the store, tell them I don't want a contract and just to buy it at full price.

Is that the plan ?

No. You can get LUCKY or...
You may live in a larger area where there are more apple stores.
You may be looking for a less popular phone.
You may be a sprint customer.

Otherwise, most folks on here "know what to do".
And then yeah, it's luck and demographics.

You can't from apples site, only from AT&T site, but you will still need an account... No device only on apples site if you don't have an AT&T Verizon or sprint account

Okay, I guess I'd better steer clear of casinos, too, because I'm not having much luck reserving an iPhone. I've been trying nightly (between 9:45 and 10:30 PM) for almost three weeks to reserve a black or white 64GB CDMA (Verizon) model, and there are a dozen Apple stores within an hour's drive of DC.

Then again, I wasn't expecting to hit the jackpot the past three nights because of the weather up and down the mid-atlantic coast. :p
 
Quick question. I placed an order at verizon's site a few days ago, but was spending time each night trying to place an order at apple's site via the reservation system for a pick up.

I was doing an "upgrade" to my account via the apple site, and it was letting me try to locate a phone. Now last night, it tells me that there is an active order going via Verizon and I can't try to locate a phone via the reservation system.

Anyone else experience this? Is this normal? Is there anyway to leave my pending order with Verizon alone, and then hope to snag a phone at apple before VZ ships and I can cancel the VZ order?
