iPhone 5 Reservation at Apple Store

I was on my way to pick up my 32g white reserved from the Galleria when my friend at another mall texts me that he is holding 1 16 & 32 in his hand which do I want 
So we swing by and pick up the 16 then go pick up the 32 .
This is what I learned today, all the inventories go to the online reserved first then any left they put out on the floor.

Was able to get wifey's Verizon 16gb white/silver device-only. Had to reserve online with a new line and plan. And activate and return, and re-bought it device-only. The SA (actually a genius, I guess they escalated it to a genius) said there won't be any activation fee.
Now I just need to reserve my black 64 the same way when I see them in stock for pickup.
We really wanted the Verizon SKU coz we're overseas now but definitely want to get on Verizon's LTE when we move back to the states. The only phone we can get here is the international version that won't work with US LTE.

Glad to hear. Almost exactly same situation here. Reserved my wife's white verizon online. It was activated in store but wanted device only. When I got home I called Apple and they said I could just return and repurchase. Looks like I'll make a trip tomorrow to return....hopefully I will be picking up a black Verizon 64 as well!
Sounds like you have the wrong time.
According to the Apple website: Buy online between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m.

So do u literally have to walk out with it and then return the next day to get it device unlocked or what?
The Verizon phone is already unlocked. I could have probably returned it then and there but it seemed like they were unsure what I really wanted to do so I figured I would just finish the transaction and then figure out what to do next.

Lucky you. I tried to get one today at Radio Shack and the guy wouldn't sell unless I bought applecare and a screen protector. 16gb was 700, not 650 like at apple. No thanks, I can wait.
Galleria was the only Apple Store closer to Miami that showed stock 5 mins ago, now is out stock. No stock at all in Miami, I guess will try tomorrow.
Thanks, I can't decide if I should just go to Galleria in the AM and see if they have any extras, cancel there if they do, or if I should just wait til night again.
Tough decisions, I hate losing my pre-order because if I don't get the phone I will be delayed another week. I miss the old reservation system

Yeah, RS salesmen are even more annoying than the guys at Best Buys, they will force you buy to / won't stop selling insurance on their stuffs. Every time they do that stunt, I was like no thanks, bye.

I saw 2 locations with the 32GB Verizon black one in Atlanta, but no white 32GB versions.

Almost scored my 32 GB White!!! Cept my FAFSA money didn't come through yet like expected, and my bank account wouldn't take the charge.
I didn't see any in Galleria, but I was THIS close to getting my pickup at Aventura!
