My phone just did that- it looked just the the picture. For anyone who's afraid of biting their iPhone, I put it on a table and got a small dish rag (just for safety) and pressed down. There was a click and the black part was nestles safely back into the casing. No problems at all.

Actually, it's happened to my phone twice. First time I took it to Apple they popped it back in so second time I did it myself. Works great

Same here i dropped it yesterday and the screen got popped out so i pushed it back and everything is perfectly fine :D

I try the biting want & it works! It doesnt cracked ur phone!! But try using a towel, so that ur screen protactor doesnt have any marks, when u bite‼️

Mine did the same thing and I don't know what to do should I call apple or take it to AT&T

iphone 5c

The exact same thing happened to me when i dropped my 5c i popped the screen right back in myself no problems my phone still works the only bad thing now is that when i push on that corner it makes a clicking sound this is because the screen is now raised just a little bit over the casing more then it should be so when you push on that side your pushing your screen back into the casing.

This same thing happened to me I was so freaked out about it and was scared I would break it by trying to pop it back in but it is actually not a big deal AT ALL.

Just put it on a table or counter and push down with the heel of your hand using the force of your weight as if you were doing CPR. It pops right back in and is good as new if you push down hard enough.

Please don't bite your phone. Please.

The same just happened to me, I put it between 2 hardback books and gradually applied pressure until it clicked back in. It's working just fine, I'm writing this message on it.

i fixed mine the exact same thing happened to me!! I was scared to push it back in plus its really hard to push with your fingers so bit down in the corner wear it popped out with my two back teeth and it snapped right in! Please tell me if this worked for you!
this worked thanks so much!!!

For the love of God don't use your teeth

3 Words:

5 Pound Sledge

Put the phone on the table (use a towel if the table is nice... or use some plastic bags from Wal-Mart if you don't have towels). Raise hammer above head. Now this is arguable, but here's the tricky part: lower the hammer swiftly onto the phone.

Clean up.

The best part is, this works regardless of what direction you face the 5C. Face up? Face Down? Result = Same.

I personally 100% guarantee that by following my guide your screen being outside the casing will no longer be a problem.

Go to store and buy a 5S instead. Enjoy.

Tried the biting method with my 5S, it didn't work... ugh. But at least the phone itself is still functional

Hi so the same exact thing happened to my iPhone, did you take it to the store? What happened, could they replace it for you?

Exact same thing happened to me in the exact same place!!

I FIXED MINE THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME!! i was scared to push it back in plus its really hard to push with your fingers so bit down in the corner wear it popped out with my two back teeth and it snapped right in! please tell me if this worked for you! This genuinely works it's amazing!!!

It works. It's truly great!!!

Thanks to the poster for suggesting to pop back in with my teeth for extra force! You saved me time and money! I felt, like others mentioned, that it was silly but it worked! I was too scared to try and pop it back in using too much force because I felt I would break something behind the screen but it didn't and worked like a charm! Once again, thanks!

Same thing happened to my wife. Dropped the phone and the top right corner popped out.

She took it to the Apple shop today, but they told her they wouldn't fix it! That they would need to replace the handset at a cost of £219...

Very nice Apple, very nice.

So if the bite the phone method doesn't work, what will..?!

I know my account is new and all, but believe me, don't use your friggin' teeth. I took the other advice, took off the two screws, popped the top off with a suction cup, and put the screen back to how it was supposed to be. Good as new, and no broken teeth. Thanks to those who weren't DBs and actually posted helpful info.

Also, I didn't have the tiny T1 screwdriver needed, but used the end of a sharp knife and it worked just fine.

So today I dropped my phone and it did the same thing, so the top left corner was coming out of the plastic. I read through these and was planning on going to the apple store, but I wanted to try it myself first. I was really scared to just push it back in, but when I eventually pushed it hard enough it snapped back in. I didn't want to try biting it because that seemed a little ridiculous, but trust me, you won't hurt anything by pushing it back in. I was scared to do this, but it worked fine. I hope this helps anyone else that freaked out when this happened to them! :)

I did the cutting board, dishtowel, push option and it worked great. My daughter's corner had popped out, too. And she KNEW she dropped it. :)

Time for a LifeProof case, I think.

I had the same issue today at school. I dropped my phone once more, and the screen popped out in the left corner. Thinking I needed to replace the screen and call in Apple to deal with the hassle, I called my brother for some help.
No need to turn it into the store, all you need to do is pinch it back into place. Yes, I understand it sounds quite like it would break it, it actually works. If you pinch it hard enough into its place you should hear a pop and it should be back to how it was. I hope this helps out a little bit and it saves money and time for you guys needing to know how to fix this situation. :) :apple:

I'm so glad you said that! I had the same problem, but I read your post and tried it. It worked for me!

LOL well sadly because of my braces it hurts to bite my phone lol

Omg! Thank u soo much! I dropped my phone at school and didn't notice the screen was popped until I got home and was really scared but I found your comment and was soo relieved! And I didn't really think this had happened to anybody else and also, time for a new case. Definantly. I have a cheap little one for the back

I popped mine back in by using work surface and putting some force onto it and it was fine.

Good lawd how often does this happen on the plastic ones.

I'd say you should leave it at that until it starts giving you trouble. If the problem arises again, I'd seek professional help.

The same exact thing happened to mine. It dropped and it is popped out at the same exact spot... What did you do with yours?

I would also like to confirm that pushing it in fixes it! It just popped mine back in :)
I was scared there for a second.
