I have Siri working 100% on my iPad 2, and iPhone 4. So do a lot of people. Not one glitch. It works just as well compared to my iPhone 5, which ran iOS 6 and now 7 beta. Google it, you would be surprised.
I have seen comparisons and Siri works notably better on i4S and i5, especially in more noisy environments.

what about that chick in the video?

man! :D

but seirously, just like Siri, this is going to be something you'll use for two weeks and then never use again

Fast capture is even better for photography, when done right. No more posing!

SnappyCam on iPhone can take high quality photos up to 60 pictures/sec on iPhone 4S (iOS 5) and soon on more devices with iOS 7.

The higher the resolution, the slower it gets, but there's nothing anywhere near as fast and high-res as SnappyCam.

Shooting photos at 120 pictures/sec would be amazing. Can't wait!

Assuming you are John Papandriopoulos, you just got yourself another sale. You sneaky guy you.

slow motion is just a byproduct you can use from 120fps tech. the real reason to use that is to get much cleaner real time motion without motion blur or stuttering as you pan. this is one reason they went to 48 fps on the hobbit as an experiment.

I wish they would use the Aperture icon.

Yeah, I like the aperture icon alot, but if they have and aperture app for the iPhone, it wouldn't really work.

The existing camera icon really isn't bad, they could just make the lens part take up the whole square and make the surrounding part black instead of grey and it would look better IMO, kinda like what I just made using MS Paint below :D

you know, for 99 percent of general consumers this kind of tech is probably good enough. which is why 120fps tech is akin to the megapixel race. if they just made the "fake" slow mo algorithms available then all would be well. its simply frame interpolation like the 120 mhz motion smoothers on Television sets. most people have no idea of what 120fps is or what it can do, other than slow motion. which they once again can simply get by faking it.

I think this is more of a Jonathan Ive mode. Slow those unintelligible fast-talkers down to Jony-speed.

A bit like a Babel fish :)

"unintelligible fast-talkers"

You mean 98% of the Americans on YouTube, doing tutorials? They all seem in such a crazy rush!

Whoa, slow down logic, slow down! What new iPhone 5S exclusive "feature" will Apple announce? There has to be something. It can't be a useful feature, it has to be "flashy" and "magical" (and preferably "beta"). :p

I don't doubt it. And part of the reason is that Siri isn't as "fast" as people would like it to be ;)

Heck, it isn't as fast on my iPhone 5, or reliable, although it has improved tremendously since its release. It's been quite useful via handsfree in my Infiniti.

The iPhone needs an IR emitter next to the flash, to allow for night photography/video.

I bet the big screen makes it easy to get good shots too.

Damn it, Apple, give me a bigger screen phone NOW. Enough with this one-size-to-rule-them-all crap. (Not counting the 4/4s; it isn't the "current" iPhone).

You don't do it with laptops, desktops, nor iPads. W. T. F.

Will probably happen with iPhone 6, not 5S.

Only problem with this is you definitely need a lot more space. 16 GB is just NOT enough room for everything anymore even on the iPhone 5.

If anything, this is when they should make 32 GB the minimum for the 5S. Keep the cheaper iPhone at 8/16/32 GB, and the standard iPhone with insanely better camera at 32/64/128.

I realize this is supposed to be the "post PC" world... but people really need to hook up their phones to their computers and offload some stuff!

I know people with thousands of photos on their iPhone. Not only are they taking up tons of space... I bet they don't have a backup either. And HD videos take up even more space.

More storage is always nice... but your phone is not supposed to be permanent storage.
