iPhone 5se May Come in Silver, Space Gray, and Bright Pink

I still have my iPhone 5s and I'm not anxious to move to a larger phone. However, I am starting to notice the age of my phone; in particular the Music app runs like crap. I don't know if the iPhone 6s would be better?... However, if the next 4" iPhone doesn't have 3d touch then it's a no-go for me. Why buy a product which is obsolete out of the box? I'll just save my money and buy the iPhone 7 when it comes out later this year. I just hope they improve the Music app by then.

Yeah, and it's a rumor. I remember the days of the iMac and it's colors, but at that time, they also were innovative. This is just a rehashing without bringing anything really new to the table.

I don't really care about colors as I have always put my phone in a case (my personal preference), so it doesn't matter to me if it's pink, purple or toad blue.

Again, it appears to be form over function. Angela & Jony, IMHO, are obsessed with color and thinness. Getting to be old hat.
Maybe soon, I can get a Mac Mini to match my wallpaper.

I don't really care about the touch thing. Not sure if anything outside of Cue being gone and they slap Iovine upside the head, that the Music App is going to improve. By the way, where is Dre?

Days of things getting better seem to be fading.....
 
Makes sense to me, smaller screen is for smaller hands, ladies typically have smaller hands, so it's being geared towards them.

I still have my 5s and I find it a good size for my pocket. I don't believe it should be gender specific. I originally bought the first iPhone because it was a phone and had some additional benefits. My iPad Air2 fits my consumption needs.

Now if they could match the front to the back so it did not look so ridiculously uneven.
 
Is that the best that they can come up with?
Might as well go all out with all the colourful options.
Look at the Xperia Z3 compact's orange...
 
New colors are Predictable Silver, Presumptuous Gold, Dreary Gray and Gay Pink. Also available in (RED).
 
Was in an Apple Store earlier today.. Never seen it look like so dreary and dreadful. Why did they decide to get rid of the iPads at each table highlighting the product? The set up is god awful. Some tables have iPad Pro with keyboards, others have iPad Pros with a Pencil you need someone to hold your hand to use, also looked a little dirty in there...

I do not like the direction this company is going. They are lucky they still make really great products, most of the time.

makes sense for many reasons..

1- the 5se will be an entry level product, pointed towards women and kids adolescents

2- apple have to differentiate it from the 6s line because otherwise the 5se could eat market to the 6s and apple doesn't want this to happen

3- the future is : 5se entry level, 6s medium level, 6s plus top level .. and with iphone 7 this will be even more clear... the plus serie is the really high end..

the problem is that we will have to buy the big size plus to have all the latest features...

i would have preferred that the 3 sizes were the same technical specs, so everyone would have been free to choose only regarding the screen size

maybe if it was the 70s... When we look back in 5-10 years (if that) people will laugh at how awful this looked

We'll I was just about to go for the new Samsung S7 with it's brand new OS later this month but the new colours on the rereleased renamed iPhone 5 swung me back to Apple again. Best to stick with what you know. But in an innovative new colour?

Well if I remember correctly, Apple spent a total of 2 seconds talking about rose gold at the September event.

I don't understand why people are complaining. The options were black and white for six straight years, and they've included a third option for the past few years. This time it just happens to be pink. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

I hope this iPhone is more than just a product for 4" screen afficionado's but something that is affordable to tens of millions of people who want one but aren't going to pay $800 unsubsidized. Apple needs a $300-400 option for emerging markets and post-communist societies. It'll be a bummer if this thing costs more than $500.

How do you know the OP is not a woman and just feeling the pain?

Global reports show that women get paid less than a man, so the OP is technically making a [..um..loosely] fact based assumption. In the UK it is about 35% less than men, in the USA it is pretty much the same on average.

Anyway the OP comes from Italy where a woman can also go to prison, for between 2-6 years for failing in her duties and being a bad housewife (not joking this time..see link).

Coming out in all the current iPod colors would be great. I can't imagine that it will just come out in one special color pink.

I hope Apple is able to price it a touch lower than expected. The U.S. Dollar is so strong that maybe Apple is getting comparatively better deals on the components and the China labor to make these things. Also if the other handset makers are looking at steep demand drop (remember they don't report numbers as clearly as Apple) then maybe component makers can be squeezed by Apple.
