I have the iP6 and it does take some getting used to. I'm glad I din't opt for the iP6+

I'm with you .... I was really tempted with the extra battery capacity of the 6 plus, but just could not live with the size, happy to use my iPad Air when I want a bigger screen.

I cancelled the pre-order of the 6plus I had.

Bought the plus and absolutely love it. Killer for reading or watching movies. It's a keeper for sure ;)

Specs on the 4.7 make me want to love the size of the 6 plus

If you can deal with losing the one handed use, then go for the plus. But most iPhone users got used to that, so it's a learning curve to go a larger phone.

I've only had my iPhone 6 a day, but I really find it's too big for me. I can't really use it one handed, I have to adjust my grip as I hold it up to my ear, and it generally feels easy to drop. I've switched back to my iPhone 5 and it really is the perfect size for me.

Anyone else feeling the same? I would quite like Apple to release an iPhone 6 in a 4" format. The faster CPU and better camera are all I really want.

I'm selling my iPhone 6 in the marketplace since they are still hard to get a hold of.

Exactly how small hands you have?

I'm 170cm and 67kg. You can guess that I have pretty small hands. Still I use my HTC One M8 quite comfortably. It's even bigger than the iPhone 6.

But to be honest, I'm quite relieved that my iPhone 6 will arrive soon. I prefer iOS over Android and slightly smaller size will be a benefit also.

I have small hands (I'm only 5'6"). The 6 feels pretty big in my hands as is. I would have loved to get the plus, but no way it would be feasible for me.

I'm coming from the 4S, so any new phone seems large.

I love the 4.7" screen on the 6. I originally wanted the 6 prior to launch day but ended up switching to the 6 after seeing and holding the Plus in the AT&T store yesterday. Although I thought the Plus looked nice, I felt that It was too big for me to use comfortably on a daily basis.

It's funny, but this was actually one of the major factors why I chose the 6 Plus. I felt that the 6 would be too big for comfortable one-handed use, so i figured I could just as well go "all in" and get the 6 Plus. I thought if i need both hands anyway, then I can just as well enjoy the advantages of the bigger screen.

Ironically enough, I now use my 6 Plus one-handed all the time. ;)

True. I'm walking my dogs right now (large breeds). Both leashes in my left hand and posting this with my right. There's really no problem with one-handing a 6+.

I am a pretty big guy with well above average size hands and there is just no way I could use the 6+ one handed with or without "reachability" .
I just have to wonder how big all these people are on this forum saying that they are rocking the 6+ one handed ??? Is the forum home to a lot of NBA players ???

I am not trying to make the case for one iphone over another. They are both great phones with their own pro/cons , but seriously could somebody post a video or something of them using the 6+ one handed COMFORTABLY ...

I just don't see it ....

I have to call BS on that .... There is no way you are walking to large breed dogs and have both leashes in your left hand and at the same time you are holding a 6+ in your right hand and posting to this forum. No way ....I

I understand it may be important to you to justify your purchase of the 6+ to the point of maybe exaggerating things a bit, but you really took it to the next level ....

I'm sorry you don't believe me. That's fine, it's your choice. But it was true.

When it comes down to it, it doesn't really matter what you or I can do with our phones. People need to realize a phone is personal and they are the only ones who are going to be using it; not their friend and certainly not a stranger on the Internet. That said, compared to other species, humans resist change to the greatest extent. Don't forget, before the iPhone, we all had other phones of shapes and sizes. We bought the iPhone and we dealt with it. We adapted. We learned to swiftly type on the on-screen keyboard - something we probably couldn't have imagined at the time of purchase. But, to think someone couldn't possibly have adapted to using a 6+ is nonsense.

4.7" is a great size. I do wish they went for a 1080p res on the display though.

I am guessing the 6s will have a 1080p screen and the 6s plus will have a higher than 1080p screen next year. 5.5 was way too big, heavy, uncomfortable to hold. 5" phone will be perfect for me. For now I'll get next year's 4.7" and with the 1080p screen. 5.5 made my wrists hurt after 15 min. Forget about excercising with that monster. 5.5" is geared for a younger audience though and will probably sell amazingly. Good cause my Apple stock can go up. Lol. I use AirPlay mirroring if I want a bigger phone at home hahaha

Personally I like the size of iPhone 6, the screen is bigger and easier to read then my 5s. For me it's the 6 and I am not looking back.

iPhone 6 is perfect. My iPhone 5 looks tiny when I look at it.

I've never understood this train of thought. Why does it matter if it makes your 5 look tiny? Put an obese 300 lb. woman next to your wife/girlfriend and she will look tiny too. Does that mean the obese woman is better?

I doubt it seeing as there have been TONS of threads expressing the same feeling.

I agree I haven't given much time to adjust, but going from the 3.5" iPhone 4 to 4" iPhone 5 was easy because it was the same width, just taller. Using the iPhone 6, I really have to use two hands, so it's a huge difference in usability for me. It just doesn't fit in my hand as easily. My iPhone 5 I pull it out my pocket with a finger/thumb grip (thumb on the home button) and I can use it right away from that position.

I have nothing against bigger phones, but I value the one handed ability and I just can't be as careless with a 4.7" screen as I can with a 4" screen. Swiping down to get the notification screen one handed is pretty much impossible.

I'm returning/selling it so soon because it is quite slippery and I have a feeling I'll drop it before I get a chance to get rid of it ;) It is a beautiful phone, but I'd quite like Apple to offer a 4" model in addition to the 4.7" and 5.5". I completely see why folk want a bigger phone, but I hope those folk can also appreciate why some folk would prefer a 4" screen.

I feel the same way. I'm giving my 6 one more week before I exchange it for a 5s. 4" is just so perfect. I feel like the phone is an extension of me that way rather than a burden that I feel with the 6.

A day is not enough. You have 14 days to decide, why would you want to be so fast with your decision? Use if for a week and then decide.

I held the 6 and 6+ at the Apple store and the 4.7" size felt perfect in my hand - moreso than the 6+ and my 5s.

I'm 5'6 and don't have big hands at all. I can one-hand the iPhone 6+ fine. To reach the top I might have to release my grip and "walk it down" with my four fingers bit (leaning it towards my body to keep it safe), but I can make that motion a lot quicker than I can that double-tap business. I can reach the whole keyboard with my thumb very easily even with a pretty thick case on it. The new iOS8 keyboard with the word choices speeds this up a lot too. So no, posting one handed while walking dogs is not far fetched if my short fat little hands can do it. It's obviously slower than two handed use, but it never was fast on my old 5S anyway.
