Yes. After I selected 2 year contract it brought me to another page and it was already selected. Confirmed in my confirmation email. Of course after I post this I finally get a confirmation for the order I placed with ATT that I thought got lost so now I have to cancel that one.

Yes. After I selected 2 year contract it brought me to another page and it was already selected. Confirmed in my confirmation email. Of course after I post this I finally get a confirmation for the order I placed with ATT that I thought got lost so now I have to cancel that one.
Unlimited data plans that are grandfathered from the original iphone era are all heavily throttled. No way i would want to keep it!
Have shipping dates ever changed or been bumped up in the past?
Like if it says October 1-6, has there ever been a scenario where it got bumped up and shipped on release day?

Well got my i6 64GB through the Apple Store App on my phone finally!! Will be calling AT&T tomorrow to cancel other two orders tomorrow since Apple is guaranteed to be delivered on the 19th and AT&T I have no clue what is going on with.

I still have unlimited international data. Great for travel and they can't throttle outside of their network.

Hmm, had to refresh a few times, but website worked for me pretty easily. Gold 128GB Plus on it's way. 😀 If I couldn't order today, would just wait... lol at twitter complaining.

Took over 2 hours to order my 64gig gold 6+ but won't be delivered til October 1-6
Also it says I have 2 year commitment even though I am not eligible for a full upgrade or early upgrade at this time
Strange. I'll work that out with Att because I'm paying full price so I shouldn't be in any type of contract
Even though I'm not eligible for an early upgrade or a full upgrade I was able to get Att to give me $175 credit on my phone bill for being with them for 17 years to defray the full price cost on paying for the phone at this time.
The first time I ever had such a problem trying to order the phone usually I get it done within 10 minutes but I think apples site crashed and overloaded servers and orders weren't going through because it kept telling me the gold was not available for Att in any storage size then all the sudden the one I wanted which was the 64 gig Att gold became available

There has been times when they've estimated are further out shipping time and it was Center early I know this happened to a few friends of mine
Took some of your advice and just kept opening the store in a new incognito page in chrome, after about 50+ tries, it loaded, ordered a 6+ 16GB Tmobile, delivery 7-10days

Apple aren't the only one with issues
Yeah the issues with Apple being down and the App showing some stock as unavailable as annoying, fact is so many retailers get this issue on big launches, not least ticket vendors. I'm not saying that makes it okay. But sadly it happens.
However, if macrumors want to start harping on about how bad it is, they shouldn't throw stones in glass houses.
Ive been trying to log into my account here to post for well over an hour. Kept telling me it didn't exist. So then i chose to retrieve my password. Kept telling me no account associated with my email. Then i thought sod it i'll set up a new account. Wouldn't let me because it then told me the very email i'd just tried in the sentence before was already used!!. So i used a different email address and set up a new account. I did that and activated the confirmation link. Then it wouldn't log me in!! So they're having problems too, and yes thats annoying as well. unfortunately it happens.
Luckily i got into Apple via safari on my macbook and got My phone in the UK, 32 minutes after sales were supposed to go live. Even after I placed that order I still couldn't get in on the App, nor on some other web browsers.
