doubt it. Timmy doesn't run a very tight ship. Jobs would have screamed at somebody by now.
 
Ordered via verizon. Took about 10mins. And my unlimited data is shockingly still on my plan. Bam. And I love how VZW's site was up and running while Apple's was down and out

Me too! And I was able to get in and pre-order 3 minutes before they opened up the pre-orders. Is that just a mess-up shipping estimate? Couldn't have possibly sold out even before they officially went live.
 
You'd think they would realise that there loyal customers will wait up, or make themselves available to buy these items, yet they muck around with the release time, and it's those loyal customers who they annoy the most!

I just went through the process on the AT&T site to order a gold 64gb 6Plus. The entire time, it said it would ship by Sept 19th. After I hit the order button, I received an email saying that it would ship within 14-21 business days. And I can't even call them right now to cancel and try to order through Apple's website because they're not taking calls. So freaking stupid.

Same here... Want to buy unlocked out-right... I even checked the O2 website in UK just in case, but that's totally down so they're probably swamped...
This is SO annoying! After the keynote streaming fiasco, this is really lame!
 
From having done this many times….

the Back button and refresh are your friends.

Just because the order process stopped does not mean your dead.

Hit back refresh a few times then move forward.

It was the only way for me to get it done.

And I did, about 20 min ago.

I think that might be a screw up of some sort.
I ordered before the pre-orders officially went live and mine says 14-21 day delivery and did from the get-go.

I accidentally ordered a 6 instead of a 6 Plus from AT&T. D;
 
Apple Store app worked for me! 6+, 64GB, Silver

Picking up in store cuz then I can, ER, talk to someone in person when it's messed up.. Lol
 
got space gray 6+ 128G using apple store apps from the iPad, it's slow but it got through, going back to sleep :)
 
I got in with the app on the iPad and it's saying that it's currently unavailable to ship. Now I just got an error trying to "fulfill your request". What a cluster, Apple.
 
FYI, the iOS app works but only if you're upgrading an iPhone and re-upping a contract with AT&T/Verizon/Sprint. If you're non-contract T-mobile, you have to use the full site.
 
Got through early on VerizonWireless.com

It was shocking. Click. Load. Click. Load. No lag, and at 2:55am EST. I was checked out before preorders were even "officially" launched.
 
lol at AT&t saying call back during regular hours when they've always been 24/7. I will get an account credit for this **** mark my words
 
I ordered my 6 Plus about 10 mins ago

I was able to order one on the Apple Store about 10 mins just fine.
