iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Now Available for Pre-Order [Updated]

I talked to V earlier and was told that I could simply switch to Edge and order online tonight. Of course I can only keep the subsidized plan or pay outright.

And I've been on hold for 40+ minutes on the phone.
 
Helpful tip that worked for me!

I have been unable to access the preorder through the apple website due to it saying the website is down. I just thought I would try the Apple Store app on my phone and it took me through the whole pre-order process without any issues! I just got my confirmation number!

Try this route if you are still unable to access it through the regular website.

Did they charge you or ask for payment details in order to reserve?
 
anyone else getting this screen. wtf, i already have a data plan. i don't want it screwing up my grandfathered unlimited data plan.

Eff this. I'm going to make coffee and take a shower. Thank god I actually have to leave for work earlier than usual, otherwise this whole exercise was a waste of time.
 
Ordered in UK. 128 GB iPhone Plus.

Took a few attempts (looks like it was a caching issue on the load balancers) but seems smooth enough now.

Delivery by 19/9 :D
 
Geez.

That was stressful, had to reload the page heaps of time, eventually cleared the cache and it moved forward to checkout.

Ordered a 6 from AT&T and a 6 Plus from Verizon with such ease I'm actually nervous about it actually happening. Got order confirmations on both, though. This was right at 3am ET.
 
Apple Site Down ATT Up

Wasn't able to place order through apple.com but did get an order for a white 64GB 6 with shipping on 19th through att.com at 12:08PST. To be fair Apple never said they were opening at 12:01PST. That was pure speculation by the rumor sites based on past years that Apple did pre-orders same time as carriers.
 
I've been trying since 5-10mins before 12:00am PT (through AT&T) and still haven't pre-ordered one. I've also tried the Apple Store App but no luck there either. This is getting a bit frustrating but I'll stick with it a little longer.
 
Wow i had gotten it just on time on the Verizon website, no lag issues at all, nothing, no delays, got my confirmation code before they got overwhelmed
 
SCREW AT&T

I ordered the 128GB iPhone 6 Gold during the first 10 minutes and it gave me a confirmation order. But now the order is blank and I have yet to receive a confirmation email. I called and the automated voice said it hasn't received my order? WTF
 
The damn app crashes instantly for me when I select 6 Plus, Space Gray, Verizon. The moment I click Verizon, the app crashes to home screen.
