That's strange. It fits fine in all my pant pockets, even the ones with shallower pockets. I wear slim jeans (not skinny).

Physically fitting and being comfortable are different things though. Bet you can't rush up some stairs without taking it out of your pocket first.

Definately not a pocket phone. The standard 6 is only just.

When I first got my iPhone 6 Plus I honestly thought it might have been too big but by that evening I was enjoying it. I've had it a week now and totally love my phone. The battery life is excellent compared to my 5. I didn't realize how comfortable I was with charging my phone...lol. Now when I head to class in the morning I leave my charger at home and have no worries.

I've had my 6+ for a week, and now that the new gadget honeymoon has worn off I've decided this is finally everything I've wanted from an iPhone. The keyboard size is perfect and the screen looks amazing. The 5.5" screen has made the calendar a native application for me, instead of just an extension that comes in handy from time to time. The tweaks to notifications in iOS8 makes me feel like I no longer need to jailbreak for BiteSMS. Using safari finally doesn't have me wanting to pull my hair out because I'm constantly pinching, dragging and squinting my way through pages. The camera is good enough to be the only one I own now that dim shots aren't super grainy. Finally, I was really surprised by the improved the voice quality. I had no complaints before but it's gone from perfectly acceptable to excellent. Also, my 5 now looks and feels 10 years old in comparison.

Tl;dr ... So, so good.

I just picked up my IP6+ from the apple store yesterday and all can I say is man this bad boy is big.

Gorgeous screen, quite slippery and give the size, it makes the prospect of slipping even easier. That is with my 5c, I could easily wrap my hand around it, as I pulled the phone out of my pocket. Now its not as easy.

Still I'm happy with it, though it's still quite new to me. I don't see myself going back.

I'm currently 100 yards away from the Regent St Apple Store, but I've waited literally 4 weeks(ordered on 12th September), that I might as well wait 5 more days for my Wednesday October 15th delivery, to finally feel the 6 Plus, after watching a thousand videos in the interim period. :D

I'm gonna savour this.

You preordered since Sep 12 and don't receive yet? I thought the idea of preorder is to have it on launch day.

Got my plus on Wednesday and i have to say I really like the big screen and battery life is pretty good. Love the size of it

Experimenting with a 6 plus at the moment. Still have the 6. Going to have to keep 1 only.

First impressions of the 6 plus:

Pros:
- large gorgeous screen
- battery!
- landscape mode and other extra features for the plus are actually useful where they exist
- OIS is actually noticeable in low light pics
- keyboard is I easier to type on

Cons:
- doesn't feel like an enjoyable experience to use. Doesn't feel natural. Too big to use with one hand and there are actually so many situations where I miss one handedness.
- big one for me - using it in bed is hard. Can't read iBooks with one hand without struggling. Responding to a message or something is cumbersome and requires too hands with hinged up shoulders.
- doesn't fit into a pocket comfortably when sitting down, squatting to put on shoes or do laces etc. day to day stuff
- too much of the software is still not optimised for the 6 plus. Where it is optimised though it's awesome.

Where to from here? Give it a few more days, at least 5 days and see if things improve. At the moment, the joyful experience of using the 6 is still more appealing. Is it appealing enough to sacrifice battery life, screen, and OIS? Still need to experiment and see.

I've had the plus for 3 weeks and I must say these are pretty accurate pros/cons. Overall the pros vs the cons made me keep the plus and after 3 weeks I'm now used to it and tiny iPhone 5s look like kid toys. :)

So glad I chose the plus!

Took about one day for me to get used the size. Not my old iPhone 5s looks tiny to me :)

I am primarily an android user but I have to say that in my opinion, the IPhone 6 is currently the best looking phone out On the market. I keep taking it out of my case once a day just to admire the design and enjoy the feel in hand, such a gorgeous phone. I have the 6 Gold and I may be the only one who thinks the antenna bands look very nice and add some character to the iPhone, I can't imagine if it was just fully gold or fully silver, it'll be just boring. Here are my pros and cons of the iPhone 6:

Pros:

- Beautiful design, thin and light
- Fantastic display even for a sub 1080P
- nice clicky buttons
- Touch ID works better than ever
- battery life is a noticeable improvement over the 5S.
- IOS 8 is flat out more refined than android, it is seemless and a joy to use. Love it!
- I LOVE the new keyboard
- Speaker is very very nice, not HTC M8 standard but second in line. Very nice, loud and crisp.
- very ergonomic, all the buttons are exactly were they are supposed to be.
- The camera is OUTSTANDING!! All I do is point and shoot and the pics come out so nice.
- front facing camera is also nice despite the lower megapixel count.
- Excellent call quality
- Excellent performance

Cons:

- Phone is VERY slippery, you absolutely need a case.
- Although IOS is very refined and all it is still and probably will always be very locked down in comparison to android.
- Lack of notification light. This is kinda of a big deal to me. When I watch movies on my computer I put the headphones in and I miss a lot of notifications. An LED notification light would be awesome.
- Although the device is thin and battery life is decent i wish apple would have made it a little bit thicker and include a larger battery capacity for better battery life. Right now it's good, but just good enough, nothing spectacular.
- I wish we could charge the phone while it is off.

Overall the iPhone 6 is a win. I have been waiting for a bigger iPhone for years and now that it is finally here I'm very satisfied. I like switching back and forth between android, IOS and even windows phone, I just enjoy trying different things. Right now it's all about the iPhone until the next big thing (No pun intended).

I love this phone so far. Very fast, 4.7 in screen is perfect size imo

It is slippery though, but I haven't had any issues with it slipping out of hand, it feels nice (doesn't dig in hands which I found with the 4/4S and 5/5S models) sort of a nice throwback to the pre-retina screen iPhones

Everything runs smooth which I really appreciate, and really like, iOS8 is buggy but I'm sure once the bugs are sorted it will be more streamlined than iOS7

Happy with it overall

My only 2 gripes so far is the camera protrusion is kind of annoying, but more than that sometimes the phone screen doesn't turn when you physically turn the device from horizontal to vertical position, which I think is a software bug. Its annoying.

Great phone though, looks much better in person than pictures.

6+

Um, so I finally have put the thing down after pretty much being my constant companion since 9/26 and used my DSLR to take some shots before it starts looking worn or something:

The screen, the absurd battery life, the camera, I could go on but....

- Lack of notification light. This is kinda of a big deal to me. When I watch movies on my computer I put the headphones in and I miss a lot of notifications. An LED notification light would be awesome.
You can use the LED flash as notification light.
Go to Settings>General>Accessibility>LED Flash for alerts.

A notification is what I've always wanted. The one you can set is not very good, it's the very bright torch light. I'd love the one on BlackBery's, red and discrete.

I don't know what iPhone to get. I really love the big screen of the plus, but I'm a 5'8 skinny guy that wears skinny jeans all the time. I tried a friend's iPhone 6 plus, and had it in my pocket. It fit! I just felt uncomfortable when walking. I really loved it though. :/

While there are some very good things to say about the new iPhone 6 camera, I'm absolutely livid that the compression settings of the jpgs have been changed for the worse on the iphone 6.

Zoomed in, pictures are more smeared and oversharpened, compared to iPhone 5.

I sincerely hope there is a software fix soon - it would be great to have a toggle setting for user-defined jpg size and even RAW option.

I've wanted this for a long time....I don't even need RAW just a setting in camera settings for the least JPEG compression or even PNG's to avoid compression outright.

So wait....

You know better then me if my iPhone 6 have had or not had better battery life to any smartphone I have used (without even knowing what smartphones I have used)??

Ignorance is a bliss :)

Yeah Idk what his deal is....personally I don't ever have battery issues so I'll be the last one to complain about that stuff but other people always complain about it.
