Gonna get mine on friday, at first I was dead set on a 64 gb 6 plus. But then a couple of questions surfaced that are making me consider the regular 6, I figured the best place to ask was this.

1. Does the 6 plus truly lags? is the performance of the 6 really that much better?
2. Is the photo quality all that superior on the plus?
3. If money was no object, which would you get? (I can get either version for close to the same price)
4. How´s each phone for sports? (I carry my phone everywhere when I run or bike).

Any other considerations?

Thanks in advance, hopefully I will be posting pics and my impressions on whatever I choose come friday.
The 6 is a great phone that's what my wife has. It takes awesome pictures with the DIS, and its very snappy in performance. The display is nice as well, with good battery life also. Can't go wrong if u should go with the 6. However the 6+ Bigger battery & screen display along with the OIS is amazing. For me the 6+ was a must have, also don't find my 6plus to be laggy. However some apps like Facebook when I go to open app the screen would go black then open. This is dew to a lot of the app not being optimized for the bigger screen. But the ones that are works and look awesome. It all comes down to what your prefence is really. Both are awesome devices and u can't go wrong with either. I would also encourage u to go to the Apple store and try both and see which one feels better in the hand to u and then make you decision. Just to add I carry my 6+ in my pocket very comfertebly no problem. I also have a Zagg HDX screen protector on it, along with three different cases that I use. The Apple leather for the office & church. The Maverick by UAG for the gym and cycling. Ringke Fuzion in smoke for more casual occasions. The Apple leather case is by far my favorite though.

The only real consideration you have to make is for the size of the devices.
No noticeable performance differences between them otherwise. The Plus' camera has optical OIS, vs the 6's digital OIS, but again, you won't really notice any real difference.

The battery and screen display is better on the 6+ as well.

yeah I forgot about the battery. 1080p vs 750p is worth mentioning, too, I guess.

If your active and like to have your phone on you unless you want to wear a jacket all the time the 6 is your best bet.

True the 6 fits better in pants pocket vs the 6+ but I carry my 6+ in my jeans pocket all day long with no problem both front and back. But when I go to sit down I would remove it from my back pocket. Did this also with my previous 4S and 3GS -2g but then again I don't wear tight fitting pants.

I can effectively and comfortably carry my 6 Plus in my front pocket. I do normally like to wear nice, comfortable pants and jeans... not the tight variety. The only issue that I believe I'm going to have will be in the summer when I'm wearing athletic pants to ride my bycicle. May have to get either a bike mount or arm case. Feels weird not having to charge this phone every evening. I'm also noticing that I'm gradually changing the reasons I use a smartphone. I'm starting to use this 6 Plus more for multimedia. So useful to have the added screen space. I go back and pick up my wife's iPhone 5, and wondered to myself how I ever settled for such a tiny screen.

Yea I notice when I am at the gym getting my work out, when ever I am doing leg raises for my lower Ab my 6+ falls out my pocket easily also when doing bench press feels like it wants to fall out my pocket. So I am going to invest in one of those arm band case for the 6+. But other than that it wears pretty well in my jeans pocket etc.

Why people dont upload their new six here? Dont have camera? im so disapointed with the lack of pics on this thread

Brand new iPhone 6 128GB Space Gray, just got it Monday, they didn't have the 64GB, so I decided to go with the 128GB

Here is a few

Thanks for the picture of the two switched on with screens active.
For some time I have been torn between a 'white front face' or a 'black front faced' 6+ and think for my personal taste the black fronted & Space Grey is right for me.
In order to try and pick I've been searching for both the White & black switched on side by side showing the same picture.
Yours although not the same picture on both phones is good enough for me. :)

I think I'm having that euphoric moment with my 6+ that owners of the 3G first had when the iPhone first debuted. This device has changed my life. #

My wife is still on the iPhone 5 and loves it. The iphone 6 only has a 25% cpu speed bump from the iPhone 5s and still has 1gb of ram like the iPhone 5 which still runs iOS 8 quite well as you mentioned. The only benefits to the iPhone 6 for me are the larger screen size and Apple Pay. However like you mentioned it isn't being used here in Canada yet and probably will take a year or two to pick up adoption.

I think waiting until next year is going to be worth the wait for the iPhone 6s.

U forget bigger battery = better battery life.

Been playing with my 6 and just love it! Very impressive in all aspects. Quite impressed with how well touchID is working, especially after a colleague tried to show off the touchID on his S5. ;)

Agreed. Though I'd like to be able to unlock with Touch ID without first turning the screen on. Like on the new note 4.

The only thing with the note 4 if u don't swipe your finger just right, it doesn't work. Unlike My neighbor note 4 I would have my 6+ Up and running with one go of my Touch ID. While on is fith swipe is note 4 finally came on. So that feature on the note 4 where u don't of to power the phone on to use Touch ID is pretty cool, but it pretty much defeats purpose when u of to swipe your finger five times to get it to work.
