Did you watch PhoneBuff's test (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGxlm82hWDM)? There it also shattered mostly on the bottom -- and, more importantly -- the screen separated towards the bottom, too (around 4:41).
I definitely did see that video and it hurt my soul. LoL. But it still doesn't mean that's what's happening in the Android Authority video. Admittedly, I did have to look at it a few times but it just doesn't make sense. Why fake it? Why this phone? Why now? Those guy have drop tested tons of phones. Those guys are aiming for likes and clicks by showing phones breaking, not surviving falls. Non Android phones in particular. They even have multiple, simultaneous angles to emphasize authenticity. There's just no reason to fake it. And, again, my phone looks exactly like that as well while being perfectly intact.
