I ordered through verizon around 6:30 a.m. eastern time.

It'll change you to a tiered plan when you activate it, I can almost guarantee it. I used that loophole last year when verizons website glitched out and let us upgrade at contract price with unlimited data plans, my receipt and order confirmation proved it. When it activated and without any warning it dropped to a 2 gig plan, and it was only after a few phone calls did they allow the order and let me keep my unlimited plan.

Sure, I guess. I did notice within the last hour or so it changed from 9/18 to 9/19 delivery date. I expected that to happen, but was still hoping it wouldn't.

64 GB Space Gray 6 had a Fed Ex tracking with expected delivery of 9/18 by 8pm. Changed today to delivery by 9/19 at 8pm. Apple must have put a hold on it.
