iPhone 6 Begins Shipping to Customers for Sept 19th Delivery

Don't feed the trolls guys - lot of negative people out there.

I'm a two week out order for mine so you Sept 19 lucky ones will have to keep us posted while the rest of us wait for shipping round two !
 
Battery cases

Shopping for new battery case for the phone. Anyone have any good suggestions? I see a few online already.

I live in Atlanta, and casually ordered mine on Verizon's site at around 10:00 in the morning with no pauses or hiccups at all. Smooth as glass.

I just got my notice that it will deliver by Friday.
 
Mine is in Memphis, heading to Illinois soon!

I ordered 2 with VZW.

But at least it was a weekend..

I don't think it was a bunch of old ppl waking/staying up taking geritol and vitamins. It was probably the younger generation (<50) waking up, staying up, or coming home from there night of fun.

That was a goog heart-felt rant tho! Lolol
 
Activation Procedure

Ordering for delivery first time. Whats the process to get the phone up and running. I am on tmobile. In the past, they have always done it for me.
 
I ordered thru Apple with in-store pick up for 9/19.

I also sent my old iPhone 5 in for the button recall this past Saturday to increase the trade in value from $62 to $205 when I pick up my new iPhone 6+.

Does anyone know:
1. How long the button repair takes?
2. How long Apple will hold my new iPhone in case the repaired iPhone does not come back before the 19th?

Insert the SIM and turn it on. You'll be guided through some basic setup steps. That's pretty much it.

no, they can't. that's why I have an awesome wife. she fulfills my life 100%.

my never ending thirst for cool gadgets is my hobby. and of course everyone has to have one.

Oh wow, you are right! Thank you for giving me this epiphany, you have changed my life! I have just sunk my axe deep into my 60 inch LED TV, and my Bluray collection is burning in the garden. I am stomping on my gaming consoles while typing this on my iPad, which I will smash into the wall right after finishing this post. I will then throw out my clothes, fashion a basic loincloth from the fur of a squirrel that I am planning to catch for dinner, and then I will wander deep into the forest to find the cabin where you live, to join you in your wonderfully fulfilled life, far far away from those tedious, predictable cycles of empty consumerism.

Are you really this miserable of a person? Most people aren't expecting "true fulfillment" from a phone. It's a hobby and this is a website for people who enjoy tech. Maybe it's time for you to grow up and get a big boy job so you can buy yourself big boy toys like we do. :)
