iPhone 6 Begins Shipping to Customers for Sept 19th Delivery

Apple just charged my credit card for my iPhone 6 Sunday afternoon. I also order a 6 plus from Verizon. I ordered both Friday between 3:25 and 4:00 eastern time.

I am not that lucky like all of you do to

My plan was to add a line, but a rep told me I don't have to do that, I can just swap my device on my current line. So thats my plan. I ordered another line, but as long as I don't activate it, then they can't bill me for it. Come on friday!!!!!!
No. If your confirmation said 9/19, then you will get it on 9/19. Those order statuses and shipping confirmations that people get so hysterical about mean nothing at all. Apple has a very good track record of getting the phone to you on the day that they promised. Even if on 9/18, it still shows "processing", a nice Fedex/UPS dude will be handing you your 6 Plus on 9/19.
Yes i ordered a 64gb space grey iPhone 6+ and my confirmation from shows 9-19 delivery.
I have ordered quite a lot of stuff from Apple already, most of it on launch day, and everything arrived exactly as promised, even though order status or tracking information often lagged behind. Apple is really good at handling these logistics.
Don't get nervous, even if a lot of people are getting shipping confirmations. The shipping to different states/countries is handled differently, so everyone will see different things in their order status and tracking info. Relax!
Same here. Ordered 6+ at 5:20a (East) Friday and they just charged my credit card (For store pickup)
Usually first thing in the AM but Fedex would have exact info for your chosen location.
The Verizon store let you pre-order starting at 11:55 Pacific Time. Trust me - I know because I was in the cart checking out at Midnight. I planned ahead and kept my VZW account logged in. I also had lastpass auto-fill on, with all my information. I received my email confirmation at 12:54AM.
I checked the status of my pre-order and get the following information:
