It is less than a Nexus 5, with TouchId .... Things start to seem interesting
It's longer than the Nexus 5... Oh great, what everyone wanted all the drawbacks of having a 5" phone with none of the actual display size benefits... purse innovation... Classy Apple, real classy.

It is longer . Oh yes, 0.1 millimeter longer. Shame on you Apple ...
I can't stand 0.1 mm longer with a proper TouchId button, especially because it is smaller in every other dimensions, and not by 0.1 mm
People say that every year. They refuse to accept reality. When the iPhone 5 case leaked, a lot of people said "there's no way Apple would release this, they made these to fool everyone."
Then when the 5 was announced and we got the hear the whole story and see beautiful marketing shots, everyone was like "ohhhhhh soooo prettyyyyy"
The same thing happening this year, people never change.
Length is a "drawback"? Extra width is, for one-handed use. Thickness, maybe, for pocketing. But a little extra length? What usage does that affect? Seems like the ideal dimension to put battery into.
We Apple users are so spoiled having such things to worry about instead of the Android deal-breakers like mass malware, lack of complete and automatic clone backups, and abandonment of OS updates before you even finish paying for the device
Looks like bezels may be slightly wider on the iPhone 6, based on these renderings.
With a case width of 68mm, and a screen width of 58mm, that's about 5mm bezel on either side.
On the 5/5s, the screen width is 51.6mm, and device width is 58.6mm, so the bezels are 3.5mm or so wide.
So the Apple logo will be a separate component like on the iPad and not like on the 5s. Will look better

Yeah.. It looks really really great!
If they could make the glass curve around the edge like the previous renderings, it'll look fantastic. The screen itself doesn't need to curve, but if the glass did, it would also feel much nicer to do gestures - e.g. browsing back and forth and going back by sliding from left to right. Instead of doing it on a sharp edge like on the 5/5S, it'll feel so nice if the glass were curved around the edge.

Good point, but I suspect that for now, this is a little bit of much needed diversion from reality.
Thinner is fine by me. Think about it. A lot of people want a bigger battery but just imagine how big the battery would need to be to last 3-5 days. I charge my iPhone up overnight so the battery the 5s has now is fine. Go thinner and keep the same battery Apple!
Nexus just took what were capacitive buttons and put them on the screen so if anything, it's the Nexus that doesn't provide the actual display size benefits, no?
I'm so over thin.

There will be some sort of sensor behind the Apple logo. Or a whole lot of them.
I took out my tape measure to visualize the length and it seems kinda tall
Could the top and bottom parts be liquid metal? Well, the HTC One didn't need "antenna windows" so maybe not.

Dyed in the wool Apple Fanboi, with MacBook Pro, Imac, MacMini, Ipad Air, and I used to have an Iphone 5S. I couldn't wait until the fall for the Iphone 6 and got an LG G2. Very, very good. Optical image stabilization, wireless charging, large 1080 screen and 3000mah battery. Now I can have a peaceful summer.
Sometimes i think these people are just paid haters. If Apple make 3 days battery they will complain need 7 days. If Apple make it bulky they will complain want very thin iphone. Etc etc.

Well I wouldn't say it will be pretty because I think these renderings are pretty damn ugly and I won't change my mind. I would bet money that the new iPhone will not look like this. You are just like all of the people that believe these bogus renderings
my dad just got the s5 and it not only had a waterproof design, better screen but he didn't charge it for 3 days, where is that apple?
