iPhone 6 Observation: Jealous 4S Owners?

Like the poster said ATT stopped pushing up full upgrades and will only allow the early upgrade $250 plus 2yr price of device. iPhone hurt margin so they will not take the blow of giving a subsidized phone to a customer early...
I own an iphone 4 for 2 years now and im complaining and moaning like crazy!

I have not noticed this. I just got done reading a thread from a 4 owner complaining about the screen size. Even threads from people that don't own an iPhone at all. Are you sure you are not imagining this since its obviously not true?
I'm not a huge fan of the next iPhone design and I am a 4S owner. However my employer supplies my phone and all I have to do is say "I want the new iPhone" and it will show up at my house via fed ex. By your theory I should like the new iPhone because there is no reason for me to be jealous? Lol
Not to mention the resell value of the 4S is like $277 on gazelle, so if the pricing stays the same, you can upgrade, contract free, for well under retail.
I love the current iPhone and I will update when I'm good and ready. I respect that some people cannot afford to upgrade.
Antennagate forced me to dump my iP4. I buy a phone to use, that one was horrid. Proof? Easy. My iP4s makes calls that never drop, that are clear & far better than my 3GS that was the best of all iPhone models until the 4S.
That's what I like about Apple. When they make a rare, yet big mistake, the next year they fix it. Even though we hear the denials until they do, I ignore the apologists knowing that Apple is silently fixing their mistakes.
Even better is the fact that the following year has extra features as well. You can always count on Apple.
I have not noticed this. I highly doubt very many people are "jealous". Honestly, I don't think your post makes a whole lot of sense. I do plan to buy the next generation iPHone when i comes out, however people can only complain about what they think it might be like as all we have at this point are rumors.
I think that I've been on these forums for a long time and think that this is the dumbest post I've ever seen.
Mind boggling, to say the least.
At this point the consensus nomenclature for the next device is "iPhone 5".
No one is debating what generation it is.

I've noticed this before. It happens every year. The people who can't upgrade try and bash the new phone while the people who can try to hype it up.
It varies person to person, but it's a general trend that can be traced back to original iPhone, 3G and 3GS days.
I'm on the 3G, 4, and 5(6?) cycle and I'm pretty happy with it. I don't feel like I missed out on much between the 3GS and 4S. The 3GS was definitely quicker, and the 4S brought Siri but I really liked Facetime, 3G, the new form factor, the retina display and all the other great goodies the iPhone 4 brought.
I think one thing is for certain....there's going to be like 9999999 threads when the next iPhone is launched talking about the name. "HAHA I WAS RIGHT!!! IT'S CALLED XXXXX, EVERYONE ELSE WAS WRONG!!!!"

I've had both the 4 and 4S since each was released. If I like the next iPhone rendering, I'll buy it, simple as that. If not I'll slap the official iOS6 on this 4S and keep it until I find something I like more.
I own an iPhone 4 since 2010 and I still find the leaks disappointing - but I'm awaiting the official announcement and presentation.
For me only, I have never complained on a forum about someone else's new hardware since in this business, changes are as common as waking up in the morning. When I purchase the iphone 5 next month or so, and a new one comes out next year, I will look at it with interest, but never a thought for those that will buy it over what I already have. Just silly if someone does
I have a 4S, and am on contract until 2013. At that point, I will get the 6.

that's like those "offers" i see all the time of bring your "old" tv (still worth >500) back to the store in exchange for a 100 discount on a new tv.
