I usually skip S models, but I got a 6+ through T-Mobile's Jump on Demand so this will be my first one.

I normally do, but have no intent to upgrade to 6S. The 6 Plus does everything I need it to do without any problems. Will wait for the 7.

I'm not sure if I should wait for the iPhone 7 and get a Note 5or get the 6s Plus. I'm doing the Note 5 test drive so I'll probably make a final decision when the 6s is announced.

No. I'll be waiting for the 7 or even the 7S/8. There's nothing compelling about the 6S rumors so far to make me feel like I need to switch. My 6 does everything I need it to brilliantly.

My husband and I are still on 2-yr plans, and flip flop upgrades. I get the new phone each year and pass "old" one down to him. As long as AT&T keeps allowing us to do this, we will. I'm strongly considering moving from the 6 to 6+s (6s+?) this year.

My daughter has an iPhone 5 so I will use an upgrade for the 6S and give her the 6.

No I will wait until the 7 because that is what I always do. Never get the S, always get the major revision.

I'll be waiting till my current contract expires to upgrade, wont be till Q4 2016

Yes, but only bc I'm using my wife's upgrade to get more storage. Can't handle 16 GB anymore. Also, she'll get my 6, which will be a big upgrade for her from a 4(S).
Same issue with me. Need more storage and was short sighted getting the 16GB.

I've been using my iPhone since its first generation and from then onwards, I keep changing my iPhone each year. Typically, I buy the successor of each iPhone primarily because of the new technologies/innovations and features. However, I will definitely buy the next iPhone(iPhone 6S) because of another reason, more storage. Apple's software updates and the apps in the App Store are forever increasing in size, taking up more storage in my iPhone. Given the fact that it will be released around September, it's the perfect time for me to grab iPhone 6's successor.

Nope! I upgraded from a 4S to a 6, and I will keep it for at least another year. So iPhone 7 or 7S for me. My wife has a 5S so she will upgrade before me, but will probably wait for the 7 too. We don't get the same sort of subsidies on phones as in the U.S. and both are still very capable phones.

In the last 12 months I have bought 2 Macs, iPhone 6, iPad Air 2, and Apple Watch.......it's time for a break!

Yeah, but only because my 6 Plus is too big and my wife has an upgrade since she refuses to get a bigger iPhone. I am really looking forward to using the 4.7" size.

The other thing is the low amount of RAM on my Plus makes the constant crashes and animation freezes unbearable. Although I've read that may be due to a flaw in the 128GB flash storage chip in my model. Either way 2GB of RAM and a lower resolution screen should make for much better performance. My Plus is also affected by the blurry photo issue so I'm stopping by the Apple Store this afternoon to get a new one. I'll see if the crashing stops but at least getting a newer one means I'll get a better trade-in appraisal on Amazon next month. The Plus is the worst iPhone I've ever had (and I've had them all except the 5S) but it does have the best display.

I upgrade every two years. I don't need to have every phone that comes out.

Yeah same here. I think two years is a good amount of time to stay with one phone. Getting the new one every year seems like a waste of money (just in my opinion).

How do you figure? There is nothing in the rumors that says biggest change.

There is no UX paradigm shift like with TouchID.
There is no new cellular network like 2G to 3G, or 3/4G to LTE.

The best we have, is more cpu (lolz for mobile apps), and force touch.

And more RAM, and a 12 megapixel camera, an improved Touch ID, and a few things that no one knows about yet, etc.

One of those things is software, the other..sure. But that's not really a big deal either. If the quad-core rumors are true, and they stay on the same path they've been on with increasing CPU and GPU performance, it will be an absolute monster. Add an AMOLED force-touch display, a vastly improved camera, and yes, the big improvements that are coming in iOS 9...should be an awesome phone. Also, more RAM, which is badly needed. That's a huge difference.
