So basically, 10 million phones get sold, two or three get bent and immediately everyone is like omg apple so bad design `iPhone 6 plus suckssss.
I agree, a phone should be able to be worn in a front pocket, even if it's a bit tight.
The thing is, we don't know what these people actually did with their phones. I'm not saying they are liars, but, who knows, they might've bumped against a table without knowing. Someone might've sat on their lap for only a second without them realising it was the pocket with their phone in it. The phones might even be anomalies and be more prone to bending for all we know.
The iphone 5 supposedly was "very prone to bending" too and though I wear considerably tight pants, I've never bent it, always having it in my pocket, even with people sitting on my lap with it in my pocket, accidentally of course.
All I'm trying to say is, we can't judge the magnitude of this problem by the posts of these three people. We'll just have to wait and see if more posts emerge.
Though IMO I'd think that if this really was this big of an issue, more people would've complained, with 10 million iPhones sold and all.
Also to the OP, just return it to Apple and explain your story. Just don't be a dick to the genius. Chances are, you might just get a new one.
