iPhone 6 Pre-Orders to Kick off Tonight at 12:01 AM Pacific

I also just spoke to Apple Store Support chat and they said they did not have any word from Apple if contractless iPhone 6's will be available for preorder tonight.
 
Can i Pre -Order two iPhone

Wonder i can pre order one iPhone 6 and one iPhone Plus ? I am eligibility for upgrade AT&T . I am not sure which one to get yet. If so i will not open the box first when it ship next week, then run to Apple stores to check it out the phone in person see which one I like best .

Hahaha. That's great! If it helps, the Plus is about the same size as a standard checkbook. It's not as big of a deal in the pocket like I thought, but it does look pretty stupid up to you face using it as, you know... a phone.

If you currently have the unlimited plan (like I do) it won't even ask you. You'll hit the button to "replace current phone". With that everything on your plan stays the same. You just get a new device.

It's only for the US... Canada is unlocked phones... :) you can go check the store even right now...

if you pre order on tmobile.com with jump will you just preorder on the landing page, or would it be on the upgrade page? anyone know? :D

Because the 6+ costs more to build than than the 6. It may not be enough to justify the difference in cost, but it has enough difference in functionality (larger screen, better camera) to differentiate it to the consumer.

The entry level is 16GB so you'll spend the extra cost to upgrade to the next level, if you had already been doing so. In the past, you may have bought a 32G model because 16G wasn't enough. But, 32G is enough. If Apple doubled the capacity across the board, you wouldn't spend that extra money to upgrade this time. Now, you still have to buy the upgrade, even if you only need 32G instead of 64G.

You may not like it, but it's a sound business strategy. Car makers have been using it for years: the base model doesn't have the features everyone wants, so everyone buys the upgraded model -- and the manufacturer gets more revenue (and more profit, since the price of the upgrade is much more than the cost of the upgrades).

they put a hold on your card for the amount, Then actually charge you and take the money out of the account when its shipped.

I called Apple Store in NYC and they said there won't be any in store pickups for pre orders.

Asking for some info from New Yorkers.

Thinking of travelling to NYC around October 3rd. Do you think I'll be able to find stock in the retail stores then? It'll be 2 weeks after the launch so you think they'll have adequate stock of the phone? Or would it make sense for me to preorder the phone to some friend who lives in NYC to make sure?

Buy the T-Mobile version, with no contract. That is unlocked.

You will just toss the T-mobile SIM, and put in the SIM of your choice. Keep in mind that if you have an iPhone 4S or earlier, it's a different SIM and you will have to get another one.

I tried to simulate ordering two phones today using the Apple Store App and sadly its one per order. Curious to see if i can use two devices at a time to make two different orders.
