I kind of want to keep this quiet until/if delivery is made, but one of my two iPhones is scheduled for delivery tomorrow (Monday) between 10am and 2 pm! I've already received the delivery notice from UPS....

The only kicker is that I am several thousand miles from home and won't return until late Wednesday night!

Great you will be home by Friday when they both arrive. If more than 2 people on this entire forum receive their phones prior to Friay, I will be absolutely amazed. These phones go and sit in warehouses or in semi trucks after they are processed with shipping info. They don't get sorted until Thursday into FedEx or UPS hubs to be processed out. That's why they are listed as next day air. For everyone else worrying out your info not changing yet, relax. 99.9%of people who received a shipping date of 9/25 will have theirs that day no matter what UPS or FedEx show. (Unless the Pope messes you up locally)

Apple order status hasn't changed however on my ups choice tracking says it has and it will be delivered by the 25th end of day.

End of day? Wtf. What happened to morning shipments?

Mines still preparing for shipment - nothing on UPS My Choice just yet.

The majority of the time, UPS just says 'by end of day' for me too without giving any indication of a time slot :(.

UPS delivers residential packages at the end of the day. Only on some occasions due to over load of deliveries or you living in a commercial area will they deliver earlier than their regular 500pm-9/1000pm. FedEx on the other hand delivers in the afternoon for me since their truck has to be back at 700pm on their hub.

Same here. I always feel like the "S" products are nothing more than service packs with extra bells and whistles that I can't see people using constantly (cue for the "S" fanboys to say...."just because you wouldn't use these features...). The major upgrades are the next point releases.
lol, I guess you only care about the exterior of the phone... Either you are new to the iPhone or started late in the game to understand what S versions of the iPhone bring to the table and they are not bells and whistles to decorate, but actual improvements.

My order status from Apple still shows "Preparing for Shipment". However, when I log into my UPS My Choice account it shows a delivery on 9/25 from Apple and provides the shipping number. If you have a UPS My Choice account, I suggest you hop on there and check for a scheduled delivery.

Good idea, that worked for me, too, and I could change the delivery to 'hold for pickup'.

According to UPS MyChoice, my SG 6s+ is in ZengZhou China. My wife's 6s is in Harrisonburg PA. Both have a 9/25 "By end of day" delivery listed. I just changed both to "hold at UPS facility", so they can be in my hands at 10:00 am Friday.

This kind of statement is made in these forums all the time and it is incorrect for a certain subset of AT&T customers that are sitting on some grandfathered plans, especially the UDP. And that subset actually accounts for over 10 million AT&T iPhone customers. The 2-year contract is more advantageous cost-wise for this subset of customers than the NEXT program. It is not questionable. It is black and white.
Can you elaborate on why so people know?

If you sign up for my UPS then they give you a slightly more accurate slot however this requires them to send you a letter first in order to verify your address.

In my experience, UK Mail have the best system as they have a graphic showing where the driver is and give a one hour time slot.
Yeah I did that a while back - my most recent delivery from them did have a 4 hour time slot, but prior to that it still said 'end of day' even after doing the whole letter thing.

That sounds like DPD who are my favourite! I used UK Mail about 2 weeks ago and wasn't given any information at all rather than a very vague tracking tool which eventually said 'out for delivery' but didn't arrive until roughly 10pm :/. Not sure what went wrong there, as usually they do provide a delivery slot and further info!

From my experience, UPS have always arrived between 12-4pm for me.

Just days after iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-orders began shifting to "Preparing for Shipment" status on the Apple Online Store, several customers in the United States and abroad have received notice that the smartphones are now shipping from China for estimated delivery on September 25.

iPhone 6s Plus from Apple scheduled for September 25 delivery via UPS

iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-orders have been shipped by both Apple and carriers such as Verizon and T-Mobile. Most devices are scheduled for overnight shipping next Thursday, meaning that customers should begin receiving their new iPhones on Friday morning, the same day the smartphones launch in twelve countries.

Apple requires that couriers such as UPS and FedEx in the United States hold iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus deliveries until September 25, but in years past some lucky customers have received their device slightly earlier. Meanwhile, New York City and Philadelphia residents could face delays due to Pope Francis visiting next week.

iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-orders began on September 12 at 12:01 AM Pacific in the United States, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Most iPhone 6s Plus and Rose Gold models are now estimated to ship in 3-4 weeks or later.

There still remains the option of standing in line at an Apple Store for a chance to purchase a specific iPhone model on launch day, but expect long lines at most locations. The new iPhones go on sale September 25 at 8:00 AM local time on a first come, first served basis for customers without reservations.

Last night (9-19-2015) I received confirmation that my shipment would be shipped and debit card was charged 167.99 (TMobile).. This morning received text with confirmation of shipment along with tracking number.. However, UPS does not have shipping information available yet but, it is Sunday and so far, so good though... For those wondering, I ordered the iPhone 6s Plus, 64gig Silver.. (After years of using Samsung Galaxy line, Decided to go with iPhone since the Galaxy models seem to be 'copying' Apple-why buy a phone copying another when I can get the original-was my logic to switch to iPhone. For someone like myself with OCD'ish ways, this has been a hard move because I'v never been crazy about iPhone's OS but love Apple Computer's OS. I suppose it was time for a change anyway especially that I'll be soon upgrading my computer back to Mac's OS/iMac 27" 5k):)

UPDATE 9-20-2015 9pm: Tracking # now displays this message:
Order Processed. Ready for UPS.

I ordered my iPhone 6s+ [Space Grey] 10min after launch. Today i checked and it is showing.
Preparing for Shipment:
We are preparing your item(s) to ship. While your order is being prepared, we are unable to modify your order details. Once your item ships, we will email you a Shipment Notification with complete order details.
So Those of you that have a tracking number assigned. Good on you. I'll have to wait a little bit longer for my consignment.
That's what mine is showing, too. I am sure that they are doing them in waves and hopefully, ours will be next. I am getting the 6s+, too, upgraded from a 5s, and have been drooling over my sister's 6+ for a year now!

Doesn't make any sense to sit on NYC and Philly iPhones knowing dam well there not going to be delivered on Friday.
Yes please. Would be awesome for phones in our areas to be allowed early delivery since everything will literally be locked down for days before and after this visit. Most likely this won't happen. But it's nice to dream.
