Won't let me pre-order anything. Must have sold out already. Hope they have plenty in-store on the 25th.

i've bought 2 t-mobile unlocked phones, the 5s and 6plus and I got home, removed the sim card from my att phone put it in the t-mobile, turned it on and everything worked. just switch sim cards before turning on the phone.

Was also curious about this. I currently have ATT, but I purchased the factory unlocked Full Price TMobile iPhone 6S to avoid activation fee.

I don't see there being an issue since they're both on the GSM network and the Tmobile phone will come unlocked...

It sucks I'll have to live with my LG G3 for almost a month before my iPhone arrives. The sad thing was I couldn't trade it in to ATT because it had the defective plastic chassis that cracked at the microphone and headphone areas. I heard LG wasn't honoring a repair for the defect even though it was quite widespread.

Did anyone else get a confirmation on the web page; however, did not receive an e-mail? Been about 30 minutes now and no e-mail confirmation as of yet.

I half expected to not get the email for quite a while, but it actually came in less than a minute.

Did you choose in-store pickup at Apple?

Initially I had ordered 2 128 gb thru AT&T but delivery date was Oct even at 12:05am. Cancelled the order and was able to order silver and rose gold 128 gb thru Apple store app for Sept 25 delivery even at 1:00 am. Took a while to cancel AT&T order but was able to regain eligibility.

I got in through ATT and it was a breeze. Now I just have to hope the shipping changes because it was already into October the second the site opened.

Just bought one for my wife as a surprise; 6S+ Rose Gold. AT&T’s ship dates were mid-October. Tried ordering it with the Apple App Store app and it kept saying that it couldn’t access my AT&T agreement. After 10 tries, it finally went through!

In the interim, I tried it reserving it at the physical stores, but the Rose Gold was gone! I guess that will be the popular model this time around.

As long as you buy the T-Mobile phone from Apple and not from T-Mobile you're fine. I did the exact same thing (AT&T customer) for the 5S and 6 with no problems at all. Just swap SIMs when you get the new phone and it'll work fine.

Seriously???? It's just a friggen 0.7 of an inch difference!

For me it's not just the screen size alone, it's the whole experience: one-hand usability, fitting in a regular pocket, etc.

These are the specs:

iPhone 5S - 123,8 x 58,6 x 7,6, 112 g

iPhone 6S - 138,3 x 67,1 x 7,1, 143 g

I just like small things, I guess. :)

AT&T Order 1 @3:08ET 64GB Rosegold 6S. Thank you and order confirmation mail received. Estimated delivery date: 9/25
AT&T Order 2 @3:12ET 128GB Gold 6S Plus. Thank you and order confirmation mail received. Estimated delivery date: 10/16-10/23

Guess the 128GB models are in short supply...

I was also incredibly surprised by the Activation Fee.

I currently have AT&T.
I paid for the device full price.
64 GB 6S.

Since AT&T charged upgrade fee and would only ship to home address of billing account, I purchased T-Mobile unlocked full price.

Should be the same thing right, since they both run on the GSM network?
Good Question!

I'm not too sure but I have heard rumors that they are backwards compatible. The upgrade fee better be a glitch in the ordering process. What did your email say?

When are they usually available in store? I'm going to NYC (from Norway) in late October/early November. Could I expect to find a 6S 64GB available? =P

Still a bunch around me available for pick up. I don't think it even got close to lasting this long last year. They must have a bunch

or people are not as interested this year. still im sure it will get push back sooner or later

Why not, merely because of the lower profit margins for Apple? The 4 inch screen is perfect for my needs and I would really enjoy an updated version of it.

Why can't they release it in the spring 2016, so they don't cannibalise bigger screened devices & give themselves a new fresh stream of income? Same goes for updating iPad Air 2, everybody wanting a Pro would have gotten it by then. Would be great for all, I think.
If you want a 4 inch iPhone, Apple will gladly sale you a 5s. As iOS gets older, it is becoming more and more optimized for a bigger screen. Let be realistic here, there will never be a updated 4 inch iPhone.
