I've used the in store reservation every year. There is a separate line at the store for reservations and walk ins. If you have reserved, stock is guaranteed.

Thanks - I have 08:15 in Covent Garden so I'm looking forward to it being a bit crazy!

I'll go ahead and cancel my first order.

Thanks. I can go to bed now :)
Sorry I may have given you bad info. Last year the T-mobile, Verizon and AT&T phones were all the same. This year the Sprint and Verizon are the same, but the AT&T and T-Mobile lack CDMA but have an extra LTE band. However, Apple seems to have more in stock this time around.

I saw this error message and kept trying. Finally went through after the 10th attempt.

Is anyone else's order in the 'processing' stage? Got an email confirmation for the order but I just want to make sure my card has been approved o_O

Just says 'order status may be delayed'...

Im glad to see a few other preorderers have had issues with receiving conformation emails. Nearly 2 hrs no word yet - Im presuming due to hammering servers are getting. Definitely in my order history though. Just hope Im in before the 2-3 week shipping started in Uk.

Got my 64GB 6s Plus Space Gray on the AT&T website 3:30AM Eastern. - I would have gotten it earlier but AT&T Premier was having website issues on the 6s Plus page (other models had no issues).

Shipping estimate is 10/16/2015-10/23/2015.

Question: If you buy a iPhone6S on Finance via Apple Online Store... Does the iPhone get allocated when you place the order, so it will dispatch on the 25/9 or when the finance company tell Apple it's approved? resulting in a later dispatch date (I was approved instantly but my apple status hasn't changed yet) Thanks

It should allocate once you place the order. And I'm fairly certain that no credit check has been done by Apple's finance company. I say that because one of the FAQ's in my confirmation email said I still have the option to pay in full or choose carrier financing when I pick it up. So they wouldn't run a credit check until you confirmed you wanted to finance it.

Thanks for that, I think it might be slightly different here in the UK, I got the 'approved' email from Barclays Bank after they did a credit check on me but the status on my Apple Store is 'Available to ship: Dates will be confirmed when application is approved.' Which I think mean's my iPhone has been allocated. (I hope)

I have AppleCare on my current iPhone. Given the prices have gone up and the 6S now has a £79 charge rather than £55 can I still transfer my AppleCare over?

No, but use your Apple Care to get a new refurbished device. It has a higher resell value (e.g., new battery).

Cheers!

Apple has, historically, shown that once they abandon a standard, it is gone. They never looked back at 3.5". They never looked back at lowed definition displays. I don't see them looking back to a 4".

That't not to say I don't recognize your needs/wants, but we also have to be realistic here. How will it be priced? Will it have lesser components and be a budget model, thereby dumping the previous 1-3 models as the budget models?

For me it is more of a tide pattern, life is all about change after all. :) For instance, Apple did abandon a 12" MacBook (plastic) a while back, but now happily resurrected it in a super-slim retina form. Sure, going back to a lower resolution screen will make no sense, as it will offer an inferior experience and makes no sense.

The price is not an issue for me, the convenience is. I will be very happy to have a modern 4" phone and, reading the previous threads, I think I am not alone.

After Sprint's website being a total fail, I just called them and ordered a space gray 128gb 6s. Confirmation email says delivery should be 9/25. On a side not, I just got an email from Sam's Club saying you can pre-order there now and pick up.

If you want a 4 inch iPhone, Apple will gladly sale you a 5s. As iOS gets older, it is becoming more and more optimized for a bigger screen. Let be realistic here, there will never be a updated 4 inch iPhone.

I don't like the design of a 5S, but do like that of a 5C (which I am still using). So for me, it would be either a hardware bump to a 5C (now very unlikely) or a totally fresh design similar to that of a new iPod Touch. They could just try releasing it in the spring & I would get it straight away. People liking bigger phones will already be all happy by then, so it seems like a win-win for all.

Woke up at 2am PDT, ordered via tmobile site, EIP for 6s 64GB grey. Their page is still saying 9/25 for all 6s models, unknown for 6s+.

It's worth noting that I turned up about 2 hours before my appointment in Cardiff last year - they said I could have turned up at any point in the day as the phones are held until close of business anyway

Pre-ordered 64GB Silver 6s+ at 0435 (ET) on the Apple site, went through flawlessly the first time. Confirmation email rec'd about 5 mins later, delivery 9/25. Yee Haw.

I bring price into the equation because the bottom line is Apple's biggest concern (again, we have 4k recording with a 16gb entry level $650 device)

We can best this dead horse but if I were a betting man, I'd say we aren't going to see a 4" or a 3.5" ever again. I don't see the demand being high enough to be profitable.

Sorry. False alarm. T-Mobile is selling the same model as Verizon but for obvious reasons isn't advertising CDMA capabilities. So it will work. There IS a second version of the iPhone in the US but that's for AT&T.

So how do you move icons on the home screen if they emulate 3D Touch with a long press? What's that? No answer? It's ok to be wrong, you know.
This could be done as simply as requiring one to go into setting to get the "wiggling icons". I am not saying this is preferable, but it's just a justure as it stands now. Not really difficult to change the input method/signal to be something else.

I'm going to hold off a few weeks and see if pricing comes down on contracts in the UK. I can wait an extra month or two... I think...
