Good Question!

I'm not too sure but I have heard rumors that they are backwards compatible. The upgrade fee better be a glitch in the ordering process. What did your email say?

I'm almost positive they will all work on all networks this time around. At least all the bands are the same in all the models except for two of the models having one extra band.

Anyone know if theres an option to choose in store pickup when pre ordering from verizons website? Cant seem to figure it out

Doesn't seem like the in store pick up is the same like last year. This year it requires an apt. only with the intention of buying through apples new trade up program.

Cheers mate.

The confirmation seems to suggest it's not subject to availability but I take your point it's probably hidden somewhere that it is.

I may take the chance and cancel the delivery order...
I also realize you are in the UK and I am not. The email I got didn't say anything aboutt availability, however, going through the motions on the websites, it certainly did.

They seem to still be available, by the way, so that is a good sign I think!

Was also curious about this. I currently have ATT, but I purchased the factory unlocked Full Price TMobile iPhone 6S to avoid activation fee.

I don't see there being an issue since they're both on the GSM network and the Tmobile phone will come unlocked...

The T-Mobile unlocked 6S doesn't have the New AT&T LTE 30 band.

Just reserved mine for pick-up on 25/9 at Regent Street. Nearly 2 hours late, and seemingly still full availability?! Unheard of.

I was wondering - why do people order online vs. reserve for in-store pick-up? Is it due to proximity to an Apple Store?

Ordered the Next upgrade for AT&T using iPhone app to order, e-mail confirmation was for a 16 GB phone... wtf? I ordered 128 lol

Reordered, and had to pay FULL PRICE.. both delivering on 9/25

Anyone want to buy a gold iPhone 6S with 16 GB storage? just kidding, I'm cancelling first chance I get

I've used the in store reservation every year. There is a separate line at the store for reservations and walk ins. If you have reserved, stock is guaranteed.

Say what you want... All 3D touch gestures can be emulated on previous devices with a simple long hold.

A main new feature... Live photos? Are you kidding me? Just take a god damn video. Even Hey Siri without being plugged in can be easily activated with a simple jailbreak.

Features like the keyboard trackpad were present in the iOS 9 betas on previous iOS devices, yet have been removed to exclusively be on these new devices.

This may be the right buy for pre-iPhone 5s users ready to upgrade, but otherwise this year it all seems so half assed.

Not a compelling buy at all. Skip.

Whatever you say. We'll just let the sale figures speak for themselves.

T-Mobile's $20 a month Jump On Demand program was too good to pass up. Goodbye Verizon!
Just bought 3x iPhone 6S & 1 iPhone 6S+.

got mine ordered from my local carrier in Australia within 3 minutes of the orders going live, delivery for 25/9

128gb SpaceGrey 6sPlus, included 24 months Apple Music subscription free (but not unmetered), starts about 2 days after my trial finishes, so very convenient timing.

When are they usually available in store? I'm going to NYC (from Norway) in late October/early November. Could I expect to find a 6S 64GB available? =P
with as much stock as they seem to have, I wouldn't be surprised. If anything, just check every moning you're there

Question: If you buy a iPhone6S on Finance via Apple Online Store... Does the iPhone get allocated when you place the order, so it will dispatch on the 25/9 or when the finance company tell Apple it's approved? resulting in a later dispatch date (I was approved instantly but my apple status hasn't changed yet) Thanks

For me, bagging an 8.30am pickup on the 25th, is a far better option than waiting for the courier to turn up!

[Edit] - I should add that the Apple Store is about 25 mins from me, so no real problem getting there.

Yeah there seem to be a lot easily available this year.
