They must have good supply or not a lot of people ordering. The Apple Store App still says delivery date of Sep 25th on all models I tried or sep 25th pickup date at the store near me. This is 40 minutes after launch!

My first pre-ordering experience...had the app store open on iPhone and apple.com on my Mac. Was getting the 'we will be right back' message on both well after 8.01 AM (UK)...panicked...deleted the App and reinstalled. Was then able order on the App :) Phew! Got the 64GB 6S Plus and reserved a store-pickup for the 25th of Sep at 8 AM.
I just had to close completely the app then open it again, that was at 12:03 and then got my email confirmation at 12:11

First ever iPhone pre-order for me, reserved an 16GB iPhone 6S, Space Grey! (Trying the Apple Upgrade Program.) Major upgrade from my iPhone 5C.. :)
Wondering why you didn't choose 64GB - it was probably a 4-8 dollars more and with photos, videos and apps 16GB may not work for you

I'm living in Germany and must say - the iPhone is too expensive. Especially now that they increased the price!

Having said that, I preordered a 6S 64GB Spacegrey. Now I've got a few weeks to convince myself that it's ok to spend that amount of money :)

I tried paying via Apple Pay only to have a big exclamation mark at delivery address which was correct! I ended up trying several times then had to give up and resort to paying with another method. So the quick convenient way to pay let me down this morning
I had the same issue, and had to use another method of payment. 6S 128 Grey Verizon confirmed for 9/25 delivery from Apple. Since the Apple Store App does't allow anything other than replacement Verizon phones, and because the Apple Website is down, I had to order the 6S Plus Grey 128 with a new line on the Verizon site. It ships on 9/25 with delivery 9/30.

Able to buy full price on Apple Store, but then went to order another with the Next plan, and get "We are currently unable to retrieve your loan agreement from ATT" Was I supposed to set that up beforehand or is ATT just not updating?

Same here, 2 6s 64GB rose gold, 1 6s+ 128GB space gray - AT&T Next.

As usual these ANALyst don't know what they are talking about - this will be the new way upgrade your phone - if you are in the US on one of the installment plans, there is simply no reason not to upgrade to the latest and greatest every year.

You lose about $200 on resale value by trading your phone back in. For instance: The iPhone 6 AT&T sold for $649 + tax or about $700. You paid off 60% or $420 after 12 months and then trade it back in. The resale value is around $450 now. This means you lose out on the $170 difference in resale minus amount owed. It makes no sense to upgrade unless you have extra money in your pocket or mistakenly purchased a Galaxy S5, at which point you would probably break even.

I ordered my iPhone 6s Plus Gold 128GB at 3:15 EDT for September 25 delivery!
I got it through the Apple Store App on the iPhone.

Apple's website store still isn't open at 3:40 EDT, and AT&T's website shows delivery dates between October 16 and October 23 as of 3:26 EDT, so ordering through AT&T definitely has a later shipping date than ordering it through Apple. I remember the exact same thing last year. I ordered both through Apple and AT&T, then I canceled the later delivery date order.

Update: As of 3:49 EDT, I checked shipping times through the Apple Store App and it's still September 25 for the Gold 128GB iPhone 6s Plus (and some other models as well).

Just ordered a Gold and Rose Gold 6s each with 64G through T-Mobile by calling in. It took about 25 minutes to get through and then less than 15 minutes to complete the order. While their websites were stating $99 down for the 64G phones, when I called in they were quoting $0 down. I guess I will find out what happens when the charge (if any takes place) after it ships.
They had me give them a credit card number which will be billed when the device ships. We should be receiving an email confirmation within 24 hours. I did a preorder for mine but the other two I set up for pickup in the Apple store (those two require full MSRP up front whereas mine is jump on demand; I will pay this off anyway so it doesn't matter all that much to me lol).

It took about 15 minutes before the store opened for me, but I've reserved my 128GB Space Gray 6S. Actually, I may have reserved two? The thing glitched out the first time, and the second time through I used my alternate Apple ID in a different time slot.

Unfortunately I have to drive about 120 miles to St. Louis to do this damn iPhone Upgrade Program. Hopefully it will be easier in subsequent years! I prefer to order online and ship my trade-ins. It's going to be pretty inconvenient if I have to drive 120 miles every year just to upgrade. I mean seriously Apple, this is 2015. Either that or put in an Apple Store for crying out loud! This is the largest college town in the state. A mall-sized store would be easily supported.

Managed to get my Gold 6S Plus 16GB form the Apple Store. I payed the full 750 dollars for the T-Mobile version. My parents are going to kill me for all this money I've spent the pass two weeks 1300 for my new MacBook, and 750 now for my 6S Plus.
Enjoy we only live once! :p

Anyone else have to text Apple's reservation system to get a code for in-store pickup?!? I followed the instructions and still haven't gotten a response back. Ridiculous.

I just got a confirmation email saying mine is reserved. Saw nothing about a text or code - just an email with the subject line "Your iPhone is reserved." I assume, for this reason, that my "iPhone is reserved". That is all.

Got mine in at 3:11 Eastern time. Wow that's the earliest I have even gotten my order in! (Shipment 1 - 9/25) Space, 64GB, 6s

Ordered. This may be my last 2-year contract ever. Says 09/24 delivery...interesting.
Me too!!! Last time I ever order w ATT and do a 2 year contract but the price was to good not to. The ATT site was open and easy to use and I too get mine delivered or should I say shipped overnight on 9/24!!

Preordered a 128gb 6s Plus in Gold via the apple store on my mac. Still waiting for the confirmation email, but - the order is in my order history so meh, I'm happy.
