Apple replaced my phone because of this about 6 weeks ago, now it's starting on my second phone as well. I guess I'll just swap it in a year for the third one. This is ridiculous.

Did they swap out your phone no questions asked? I just noticed dust under my screen today right above the second 'T' under the AT&T logo on the upper left corner of the screen.

I do have AC+ since I went with the IUP, so I'm debating whether to suck it up and deal with it. Or make a genuis appointment to get it taken care of.

My screen was replaced. Not the whole phone, FYI.

To be honest, I'd actually prefer that. Have you experienced any additional dust issues since getting the screen replaced? I presume you didn't have to pay anything out of pocket either.

No dust incursion yet, and it was covered under the standard 1-year warranty.

Mine is ok from early January but a family member's only 1-2 weeks earlier is showing 1/2 dozen specs of the "dust," in the suspect corner (top left). It does seem pretty widespread doesn't it. You do have to look for it, but I can imagine if it gets worse you won't have to look so hard to find it.

Dropped my naked 6S twice, I was shocked it had no marks at all. This is from table to hard floor.

Dust specs moved the first time closer to the switch. Second time, they're all gone. So that's the fix folks. Drop your phones.

Seriously though, all the specs came out. People thought I had a dead pixel so it was a very visible, but now its completely gone.

This sounds like good advice. I'm gonna go try something like this. *throws phone at a brick wall*
Hey, it worked!

I actually tried this and it worked. Got sick of having to swap my phone because of the dust gradually piling up in the top left. Dropped it a few times from knee height on the mute switch side unto a relatively flat rug and most of the bigger dust particles that look like dead pixels are goneo_O. This dust issue is ridiculous.

I have this issue on mine, very strange. Didn't have it from new so definitely dust getting in. I have a 6s, don't think I will exchange though it is not easily seen unless I examine it.

I'm going to wait a while after the iPhone 7 releases to see if this issue is still present. Dust under the screen really bugs me

I'm hoping that there are still lots of people that haven't had this issue come up. I really like my 6S, but this would drive me nuts. I'd rather have an SE with a rattling button than an iPhone with dust under the screen!

I was actually thinking of getting a SE and passing my 6s on to a family member. My 5 had a rattling power button and it never bothered me.

Took my 6s in three times to have the dust issue resolved with either a screen replacement or refurbished device (under warranty of course) but the dust always slowly returned in the upper left.

That's scary! Until recently, I'd never even heard anyone mention the dust issue. The only time I ever had dust get into a phone screen was with my Motorola RAZR. Oh, back when phones were pushing to be smaller and smaller!

I heard it's not dust. It's the 3d touch component is touching the LCD backlight.

Seriously? I guess it could be both. I thought that there were just two sensors on the top and bottom that sense the pressure.

Mine is just fine. In fact, I've had 4 iPhones, and never once had an issue nor took them back.

Aren't the screen/digitizer/force-touch assemblies put together by robots? Have to check on iFixit, but I also thought they were "one unit" once they were assembled.

Yeah. living breathing robots paid $2/hour and no breaks. Only option is to commit suicide from the assembly line plant balcony.
