Is it weird that I'm super excited at the lack of FCC and other regulatory logos all over the back of this phone? I know they've mentioned it before that this was a possibility but I don't really see or hear anyone talking about this. It's a minor change but the first time in 9 years. Yay! Looks great.

For those keeping track of how/where to use 3D Touch... It works on the contact circles under Siri Suggestions, but it doesn't seem to work for the app switcher in landscape mode which is disappointing.

Is touch ID really so fast that you can't press home without unlocking? That actually sounds more annoying than positive to me.
I love the half second delay on my 6, allowing me to choose whether to just turn on the display or unlock it.

Yes it is that fast.

I like my new 6s Plus a lot:
- I don't really notice the added weight. Was worried about that.
- Touch ID is indeed super fast now.
- 3d touch is cool, but I hope more apps jump in soon.
- General quality control seems great. No flaws at all that I can detect on my iPhone (remembering the 5 scratches all over the place or the 4s with its too warm displays).
- Got a silver one, rose gold WAS too pink for me, even in-store, but that's just me.

Nope.

To take a video you have to press Record.
Then you need to press stop.
Plus videos take up WAY more space.
So they are harder to text.

Live photos are way easier to take then videos and way smaller in file size. Big difference.

it's also easy to turn off at the top. Just touch the little circle if you don't want. I think you can turn it off by default and then use the circle to toggle. I like them. I'm wondering if people with older iPhone can see them. I like them. Hoping more apps use the API Apple is releasing to use them.

Appears to me that Live Photos would benefit from the use of a tripod in order to obtain the motionless background characteristics that Apple displayed during the release.

I hope a software update where by force touching the screen will act the same way as pressing the home button will arrive in a 9.x update

I really do think the home button will die when iPhone 7 is released

So far, I'm happy with the new 6s. It is a bit faster, but nearly imperceptible unless you are trying to measure speed because the 6 was already fast. I compared photos taken with both with the same exposure settings: 1/40, ISO 200 and the 8 megapixel image from the Iphone 6 is slightly sharper. At that ISO, there isn't any additional detail gathering ability with the 12 megapixel sensor from the 6s that I can see. Noise is similar so the increased megapixel count is nothing more than a number on paper at this point IMO. Of course, there might be *slight* additional detail at the lower ISO's but I am skeptical. I do wish the 6s was as sharp as the 6. I suspect slightly heavier noise reduction to maintain perceived image quality which lowers image sharpness. Overall, satisfied with the upgrade. I do agree the live pictures is a gimmick (like on the Lumia's and countless other smartphones before the 6s).

What's with the second box? It looks badly photoshopped, it's not even the same image.

Touch ID is too fast??? Try using a different finger or change how you press the home button by repositioning your finger at an angle slightly? Problem solved! :)

Seems like the obvious solution is to not add all your fingers to touch ID. On my 6 Plus I have all 10 configured, I might not do my pinkies and use those for lock screen activation.
Funny, I thought the limit was 5 Fingers..
At least for the 6 it is.

I'm holding mine in my hand any one who has the rose gold would have to agree it is a genuine representation of rose gold. In brighter light like sunlight for instance it's straight up a dull peach

If anyone thinks Apple created the Rose Gold color, this 3,350 year old belt buckle was found in King Tutankhamun's tomb, it's made with Rose Gold.
