I'm really hoping that if there's going to be motion wallpapers, we might get an OLED display. I've been wanting one for years, but we'll see.

I think the camera be a big feature, but now that the iPhone 6 has a larger screen, I think Apple is going to move towards emphasizing their ecosystem as a way to sell their product instead of just key features.

But then again Apple references Siri rather prominently on the invite to the iPhone event...

That would be smart on apples part. Make something unique to Siri, but can only be achieved on the 6s b.c of some hardware. That would be must have to a lot of people. It would piss me off haha, but one of the few things I would upgrade for.

Perhaps, a native core just for Siri Processing, plus offline Siri for ultrafast responses?

This year we added a slightly larger front camera and a hardware accessibility menu.

I know you must be thinking "How did they do it again?"

...well we did remove 16gb of storage space on the base model.

P.S. we also removed 32gb of space on the mid-tier model and 64gb of space on the tier above that.

I'm pretty impressed with the haptic feedback on their laptop trackpads, but I tried out an apple watch in store and the force touch feedback felt like a vibrating iPhone. if the new force touch is just that apple watch nonsense, it's actually a negative feature in my mind.

The killer feature I want is safari the not refreshing. And the plus to not have orientation issues.

My only two complains so far. Damn safari/chrome refreshes on both the iphone 6p and my ipad air 2. The orientation issues drives me crazy when you take pictures on the 6+ and they get saved sideways.

Why do people want multi window multitasking on a smart phone? Use a laptop if you want that much functionality.

I consider myself a power user/enthusiast and whenever I want to do something "powerful" I get on my laptop.

I don't get the people who want their smart phone to replace their laptops/desktop computers.

I do not care either way, but I understand the desire. If I did not need a computer for work, I could get away with just a phone/tablet combo. If my phone could do everything the tablet did, I wouldn't even need that. That is the desire for more RAM and multi-tasking.

before the tagline regarding to Siri I thought the camera was to the biggest feature, however I now think Apple is looking to really push Siri. Which is very exciting.

Out of curiosity and because I never pre ordered an iPhone before, how long after the event on the 9th can you typically pre order the iPhone?

Force touch is likely to be it.

It will educate people to a new paradigm, a new UI, to get rid of the home button in the future.

Probably because it can be used for simpler things than some "power" uses. Just like checking on something while watching a video, or checking on something while keeping an eye on a conversation that you are in, etc.

Personally, I'd love to see multitasking/split screen on the iPhone 6s+. Sometimes when I am watching a video, I'd like to respond to a text while the video is still playing.

Killer feature: up-to-date maps that won't get me lost.

Yeah. I went there. Boom.
Hasn't been much of an issue for most for some time now. Not as good as Google perhaps, but even Google isn't always right either.
