Hasn't been much of an issue for most for some time now. Not as good as Google perhaps, but even Google isn't always right either.

I literally get wrong directions at least once a week. Like horribly wrong. Assuming I can find the POI in the first place through Maps. I keep trying though. I'm not sure why. I guess I always hope it'll be right so I can shut up about it :)

(By the way, I use the Report a Problem button whenever I find something wrong and some things have been updated in the past. Progress!)

I also think Split Screen would be nice on iPhone, I mean the full multitasking experience needs to be iOS wide not just iPad.

So, let's think about it for a while: The iPhone 6S will have the same design as before, look the same, work the same, will probably be faster (not that there is a problem now with the iPhone 6), have better camera and video capabilities and also have force touch, that nobody really needs.
Unless Apple surprises us big time next week, I do not see what its killer feature is.
It is obvious that Apple will talk 10 minutes only about how great the camera is. This is what I am betting my money on..

I think the "killer" feature will be force-touch, even though many websites don't think it will be. I don't see it as a "must-have" feature, but what else could Apple advertise this time around?
Force Touch turns the iPhone into a 2 handed phone unless i'm missing something. It's not a 'must have' feature. Most likely the 4K video will be more popular.

It's less bendy!

There might be a surprise about the display. For a lot of people, 2GB of Ram would be killer. We will know in a few days.

Yes there is a problem with the iPhone 6, the 1gb ram

I can see it happening. The 6 Plus has a lot of real estate vertically and it can put that it to work in better, more efficient ways. Then when it rotates, instead of the apps being on-top of each other, they can be side by side. It's amazing to think what could fit on a 5.5" display.

6 Plus in landscape share the same class as a portrait iPad and multitasking on the iPad works in landscape mode only, so it should be implemented in a different way.
I'm not sure it would work in portrait because when interacting with the top one app you'll likely cover the second one with your hand.
The PiP feature could make its way to the iPhone in order to watch a video in portrait mode keeping it on the top or bottom of the screen and imagine a facetime call with the video in a little window while you are able to interact with another app.

All I want is more RAM. My phone is almost unusable thanks to constant reloading of safari tabs
I have this same problem now with my iPad retina mini as well as my 6plus. At least my iPad mini is about two years old. I just got this iPhone 6plus last year and the problems were already present. Apple pulls this underspeccing garbage on us and we take it based on the good will they've built up in the past. But things are clearly different now. After this experience I don't trust that their stuff "just works" because they have some special synergy between software and hardware and can therefore get away with lower specs. Now I'm going to think they're just cheap. Sorry if I sound extra grumpy. I just had the frustration of trying to read a news page that kept reloading on me.

I have force touch on my Apple Watch and multi-window tasking on my iPad with iOS 9 beta and rarely use either one. I think that they are both overrated. Just give me a little more horsepower and memory under the hood and I'll be a happy camper!

I just want to point out that I message alot. You may not use it a lot, but I sure as hell do. Right now, Im using Macumors on safari, Messaging a client of mine using Messages (Also talking to my grandmother in UK) and watching Harry Potter with Picture-in-piture. Love it. It is almost like I have a full blown computer. I can't wait until I can use flipbard and Twitter at the same time as well.

How would that turn it into a two handed phone? The only reason I ask is because you can easily apply pressure to the screen wth your thumb just about anywhere. You don't even have to press that hard on the Apple Watch to activate Force touch. I bet all the people on here saying negative things about Force Tuch will be changing there minds next week.

The 6+ is badly underpowered, it's a fact. While Apple can optimize the apps to work with 1gb of RAM, because they control the ecosystem, they can do nothing when it comes to memory hungry, media rich websites. I've had certain sites reload on me while I am scrolling through them, and don't get me started on safari crashes. It's disgusting.

I understand a lot of people do not experience the same frustration because they use the phone for texts/calls only but I am a heavy user, and there are times when I wish 'the most advanced phone in the world' didn't lose all my data thanks to reloading when I switched to another app for a second

If multi-window multitask feature is the killer feature of iPhone 6S, I think it may lack killer feature.

That means they could do the same to entice users to update to the 7 in 2016.

Yes but usually a whole new design is a compelling reason to upgrade, while the S versions keep the same design so they need something great on the internals.

I don't know what the killer feature would be this time, but I'm afraid force touch won't be the one.
2GB of RAM would be great, buy many people don't really know what RAM is, so from a marketing perspective the most highlighted new feature could be the 4K video recording and the new camera with more MP

That's what I said 1 year ago: they put 1GB of RAM to entice users to upgrade to the 6S in 2015.
Well you were right and I was stupid. Sort of. I did desperately want OIS and it's worked really well reducing the number of blurry kid and pet photos. And I was tired of my iPhone 5S pooping out on me in the midst of receiving texts at all hours from a globe trotting drama llama with borderline personality disorder and no concept of time zones. Though in retrospect I suppose I should be thanking my IPhone 5s for that. At any rate my IPhone 6 purchase has served my purposes. Just not for as long as a ridiculously expensive device should have.

I know that everybody has been going on about Force Touch and haptic feedback along with better cameras but do you think the killer feature for this phone could be that you can multi-window multitask on it? Maybe the 2GB of RAM will enable this since the iPad Air 2 can do it. Maybe this will be that 'killer feature' everyone is hoping for?

Just a thought

im hoping to see ois in 6s and 2gig ram. force touch? - nope, not interesting...

There will not be anything "killer" about this phone upgrade. Except if you mean "killer", you mean thicker, longer, and with some gimmicky feature that isn't worth the price of admission. The spec bumps will be nice, but it'll just be a refined model and a stopgap one at best going into the iPhone 7.

Force touch is cool, but it's by no means a killer feature and a spec bump is hardly worth an upgrade unless you notice your phone is running sluggish... and if it is, that's on Apple, because the phone should be a very functional device for years to come.

How can you say Force Touch is gimmicky when you don't even know what it does?
