No matter how many different opinions you hear / read, end of the day the best suggestion is - "to each his own".. The best way to decide for yourself is to go to an Apple Store and try both the phones extensively and for long. You will find all your answers. Just remember one thing - there is going to be a trade off in every decision in this world.

I did this for close to a month before buying mine. Final choice - "6s+ 64gb" and am loving it.. You too will if you just listen to yourself rather than your neighbor

Absolutely get the normal sized 6S. the 6S+ is nice to have, but owning a device that big is very uncomfortable to use in the long term. You also sacrifice a ton of pocket space too.

I got a 6S Plus. Fantastic screen, amazing battery, yet every time I pick up my wife's 6 I admire the way it feels in the hand.

Coming from a 4S, I first thought that the Plus model was enormous and ridiculous, so I went for the 6S. I liked how it felt, but I thought that the screen would feel bigger, and its battery would hardly last 6-7 hours, with some days making it hardly to the end of the day.

I then looked for and read about 6S vs 6S Plus comparisons and I started regretting not having gone for the Plus, especially with its bigger battery. I went to an Apple Store, tested the Plus for some time and asked if I could return my phone and get a Plus instead, even if the 15 days returning period had already passed. They made me the favor, and man, I am so, so happy now with my 6S Plus. I have no problems keeping it in my pockets, and though it’s hard to use with one hand, I had already that problem with the 6S, so having a better camera, better screen and much better battery is a no brainer for me.

I got used to the bigger size in just one day, and whenever I use my old 4S it feels like using a micro iPhone toy.

No pocket space lost...

I'm going to go out and see if there is a sim free 64gb 6s space grey at my local Apple Store tonight, I'd buy something smaller if it was available. Regardless, get what works best for you. There is no one size fits all.

My skinny jeans and coochie cutter shorts must just be too tight! I'm certainly not going to go out and buy all new daisy dukes for a phone!

Why not reserve it online for in store pick up?

You people and your "common sense", where is the hassle in that?

I'm going to be walking right passed the Apple Store tonight and honestly I'm not too concerned with whether I get one or not. I just been meaning to pick one up when I've been in the immediate area (like walking, not driving by their their store front lol).

Besides if they don't have one I still want to get the new AppleTV.

Just picked up my 64gb sim free 6S in space grey. So far so good, was expecting a bit more performance over my 5S but it is quick for sure. Came with iOS 9.1.

I set up as new. Apple really streamlines this process. Nearly have all my apps downloaded and set up.

Coming from the 5S I'm very happy I didn't go with the 6S plus. The 6S is a handful for me in an otterbox case. But I imagine I would get used to it but for me this is near perfect.

Really looking forward to testing out ApplePay!

6S too small, 6S+ too big. However, if you plump for the 'too big' model you get the trade offs of a bigger (obviously) & nicer screen, much improved battery life, and OIS. With last year's 6+ you got a much better loudspeaker too, but they inexplicably swapped it for a tinny clanger this year.

If you don't use your phone for heavy web browsing & videos etc and just want a highly pocketable one-handed use device, then the 6S is the one to go for. It's not all that difficult to choose.

I like my iphone 6 . I feel comfortable with the size. It is perfect for talking on the phone. 6 plus is for males I think.

I'm a guy using 6S plus at the moment, not sure if I'd go for the plus again for my next iPhone. Anyway, just wanted to say that I see more women using a plus than men. I suspect women are less bothered by having to carry a larger phone around since they have purses. Most men on the other hand rely on pockets only.

I went with the 6 last year, thinking the plus is just too big, but thinking of a change this year.
Those who went from a 5S last year to the plus, how have you found it over the last 12 months and will you be getting the Plus again or the regular 6S?

Get the Plus. You won't regret it.

Majority of the people in my office that use the 6 plus are women actually. Rationale seems to be that the bigger screen and battery are ideal for all-day social media connectivity....

My theory is it's not so relevant if you use a purse rather than carry on pocket....
