It goes without saying that anything posted on an internet discussion board is going to be someones personal opinion. I could follow every sentence with 'for me' or 'in my opinion' just to keep people like you happy, but I think most intelligent people would know from reading my post that I was obviously taking about my personal opinions and experiences of the 6 Plus. There, I fixed it for you.

You can be as pedantic as you like over my wording but no one else on here seems to have taken issue with what I said. In the context of my entire post it's obvious I am stating my own opinions and no those of everyone else.Nah... That's a really poor excuse, to be honest.
You wrote: "...and apart from the better battery life theres really no major advantage to having the Plus..."
You can see how this comes across as passing your opinion off as fact. I did find the rest of your post to be informative though.
Contrary to the views of the majority, I see the 6S as being more premium than the 6S+
Reminds me of the laptop/notebook market where there is an optimal cost-effective size (15.6") - where anything smaller becomes more expensive due to the more specialised components and engineering required to have everything fit and function correctly in a smaller package. To provide pretty much the same specs in a smaller package is a magnificent feat of engineering and I definitely feel I have the superior phone when sitting next to someone waving their large phablet around.
that definitely was not the case of the 6/6+. Hope you are right.
Which part? Shall I dumb it down for you? This makes no sense.
You state that the 6S is more "premium" than the 6s+? Let me dumb it down for you. Think about the 15" retina MBP vs the 13" retina MBP does that make the 13" more premium? Sure the differences are greater between those than the iPhone's but at the end of the day the larger, higher res screen and longer battery sure scream premium to me.Which part? The 13" and 15" MBPs don't even have the same standard specs - if they made both with the same CPU, RAM, storage, then yes, I'd call the 13" more of a premium device. It has been a constant trend that as technology advanced, portable devices have shrunk where possible/practical. For a good while, there was a race to provide the most powerful, yet compact phone until people started clamouring for larger screens again. However, it's still the case that in the notebook market (particularly outside of Apple's world), the more compact devices (ultrabooks for a while, now largely superceded by the hybrids such as the Surface Pro) attracted higher premium than the standard 15.6" mainstream systems, in part due to the engineering required to fit the technology inside such a compact form factor. You state that the 6S is more "premium" than the 6s+? I honestly feel like you have to be an incredibly indecisive person to not be able to make the decision between a 6S and a 6S+ without coming to the internet and asking.
The two phones are so immensely different in size, that it confuses me that people have trouble knowing which one is for them. There are some people who simply will refuse to have a phone as big as the 6S+ and there are certain people who just know that the bigger phone is what they need.
It's never struck me as one of those "hmm.. not sure which to get" sort of decisions. Similar with 13'' rMBP vs. 15'' rMBP.
Anyone come across from android with an 'in between' screen size? I'm changing from an Xperia z3 with a 5.2" screen, so the iPhone 6s seems small, but the 6s+ seems big.
My temptation for the plus is for the larger screen when browsing and watching video etc, but then at home I'd use my iPad anyway. And having a quick test in a shop the 6s snuggles in your hand nicely, whereas the plus sits more 'on' your hand, so definitely harder to hold.
I went with the 6 last year, thinking the plus is just too big, but thinking of a change this year.
Those who went from a 5S last year to the plus, how have you found it over the last 12 months and will you be getting the Plus again or the regular 6S?
