Just received the 4th one this morning. Week 45 from F2 Foxconn, iOS 9.1 already installed from the factory. It's somewhat better. But still there. Giving it few days to see if it goes away as its fresh out of the factory last week.

For those who has the issue but kept it anyway, Has it fade away to where you can't see it anymore?

Mine are still there 3 weeks on. The characteristics of the screen on all 3 of my iPhones changed within the first 2 weeks. In some ways better, in some ways worse.

Bump on the back? Never heard this one before. What's happening exactly?

Yeah. I opened it up and it looked fine, turned it on. Viola, theres two fade blemishes but better than other 3 I had. Inspected the body further. Noticed surface isn't constant on the back, ran the finger through. Felt bump. it right on area between motherboard and battery. Not going to take the chance. Already dropped it off at FEDEX office 30 mins ago. Since I have went through 4 6S+, I'm done. So, I'm going with regular 6S and call it the day.

Guess it won't get any better. It is very disappointing that the 6S+ itself is one very sweet device that has to deal with all those defects!

Here to hope the upcoming 7/7S would have those addressed along with better specs. The only thing that really draw me to 6S+ is the higher resolution providing crispy text and all. Since I got the eagle eyes (20:10), I appreciate those things.

My dark area got darker. How do you check how many times battery was recycled?

it won't be. My guess is 7 will be the same if not worse QC.

When most people don't notice or care, Apple is happy.

I don't know if people just don't bother to take the phones back (I have a friend who still uses a broken Xbox 360 controller that was broken in shipment and he didn't bother to ask for an exchange), but I've taken a look at too many of these devices with a dark wavy edge on the top and a pressure point on the side to think that it's in any way a rare instance. :-/ I hope that they do see the return rate as an issue that needs to be looked into. My retina macbook's screen is fantastic, and so is my iPhone 6+, but the 6s+ is really inconsistent.

I went through 4. They all had it. It's ridiculous. I have seen them on demo displays at all stores I visited. Out of all those, I would say 10 in total, I saw only ONE at Sam's Club with a flawless screen. And yes, it was a 6S+. I wasted lot of time on this situation. That's why I threw in the towel and ordered an 6S. If by chance that the quality get better towards end of December, I may consider exchange since we're in Christmas return period good till Jan 8th. :) But I'm not holding my breath.

how many exchanges did you have before giving up?

I went through 4 of 6S plus in period of 3 weeks. 1 - blemish on screen, 2 - blemish on screen, home button not working correct, 3 - blemish on screen, edges around the lcd not flush to the body. 4 - blemish on screen, swollen in the back.

5s..

luckily its not mine, but look at this, perhaps a good reminder to not roll the 6s plus swap dice anymore after two exchanges that i did shortly after release,

..this photo was stock calibration but after color profiles my 6s+ is mostly delicious and do-able, my rMB is considerably warmer compared to it but still is quite nice on its own and i don't mind a warm laptop screen i don't think as long as it isn't PISS YELLOW like this 5s, but my 6s+ is warm compared to my air2, also pic not exactly accurate completely but representative enough, at 100% brightness in an LED lit room (tempered glass on 6s+ too, probably contributing a little to the look of the edges vertically in this pic),

sidenote- i don't know if you guys had a panel like this on 5/5s, but this one has like 'vertical interlacing' (the 5s), runny vertical lines against the grey color of the camera icon, HORRIBLE QC APPLE! manufacturer date was october 2015, too.. and i know some though perhaps a rare group of you may say you prefer the right, but trust me, in person it looks jaundice. jaundice = not jolly for me. and since we were discussing button tightness, 5s power and volume buttons is loose!!

on an unrelated note, the 5s chamfered edges and design is refreshing

tl;dr look at the pic to see APPLE QC is EMBARRASSING!

Honestly I don't see it at all. I know it's there because I had to REALLY LOOK for it.

Been happily using my device since September 25th with no issues at all.

Sadly but true! Apple counts on people buying anything that says "Apple".
Well in the totality of what I do with my device all day every day, the existence of a less than a quarter of an inch nearly translucent gray dot at the bottom left corner visible only on the Google page and which does not affect functionality in any way is not enough to keep me from getting the device that does everything I want.

So Apple can count on me ordering the iPhone 7, unless they do something totally off the wall.
