Bump on the back? Never heard this one before. What's happening exactly?
Ughh, sounds like a swollen battery. Get it replaced asap before the phone blows up.

Just received the 4th one this morning. Week 45 from F2 Foxconn, iOS 9.1 already installed from the factory. It's somewhat better. But still there. Giving it few days to see if it goes away as its fresh out of the factory last week.
For those who has the issue but kept it anyway, Has it fade away to where you can't see it anymore?

Mine are still there 3 weeks on. The characteristics of the screen on all 3 of my iPhones changed within the first 2 weeks. In some ways better, in some ways worse.
My dark area got darker. How do you check how many times battery was recycled?Just received the 4th one this morning. Week 45 from F2 Foxconn, iOS 9.1 already installed from the factory. Guess it won't get any better. It is very disappointing that the 6S+ itself is one very sweet device that has to deal with all those defects!
Here to hope the upcoming 7/7S would have those addressed along with better specs. The only thing that really draw me to 6S+ is the higher resolution providing crispy text and all. Since I got the eagle eyes (20:10), I appreciate those things.
it won't be. My guess is 7 will be the same if not worse QC.
When most people don't notice or care, Apple is happy.
This isn't surprising. People complain about everything on here.I agree.
Have a look in the iPad forum. People are already complaining about large yellow bright spots on their new iPad Pros.

I don't believe this is correct as Glue is no longer used with the new iPad or new iPhones. The glue drying was an issue on older iPads and iPhones.Yellowish, Those are glue not 100% dried. Saw this before on ALL iPhones.

I don't know if people just don't bother to take the phones back (I have a friend who still uses a broken Xbox 360 controller that was broken in shipment and he didn't bother to ask for an exchange), but I've taken a look at too many of these devices with a dark wavy edge on the top and a pressure point on the side to think that it's in any way a rare instance. :-/ I hope that they do see the return rate as an issue that needs to be looked into. My retina macbook's screen is fantastic, and so is my iPhone 6+, but the 6s+ is really inconsistent.
I went through 4. They all had it. It's ridiculous. I have seen them on demo displays at all stores I visited. Out of all those, I would say 10 in total, I saw only ONE at Sam's Club with a flawless screen. And yes, it was a 6S+. I wasted lot of time on this situation. That's why I threw in the towel and ordered an 6S. If by chance that the quality get better towards end of December, I may consider exchange since we're in Christmas return period good till Jan 8th.But I'm not holding my breath.
how many exchanges did you have before giving up?

Well in the totality of what I do with my device all day every day, the existence of a less than a quarter of an inch nearly translucent gray dot at the bottom left corner visible only on the Google page and which does not affect functionality in any way is not enough to keep me from getting the device that does everything I want.Sadly but true! Apple counts on people buying anything that says "Apple".
