In the video, the phone is given the same bend test it was given a year ago. FoneFox's Christian simply wraps his hands around the device and attempts to bend it in the middle. While the phone starts to bend under more and more pressure it snaps back to its normal shape once the test is over. Christian notes that he can feel his thumb sink into the back of the device, but that the phone doesn't stay bent.

Am I the only one that was cringing at the possibility of the phone's screen shattering in their hands, shredding them to a million bloody pieces? :(

I've owned and still own every iphone. My iphone 6 is bent, the rest aren't... its an issue. I checked 4 of my friends phones and 2 out of 4 were bent. it's a fact that it happens so i'm perplexed at the naivety of your comments.
This isn't very scientific. There's about 7 people with an iPhone 6 at my company and none of them are bent. Just take it back to the store - Apple encouraged you to do this a year ago.

Interesting how that Rose Gold iPhone 6S doesn't look as stupid pink as those stupid pictures that some ***** took that were posted on MR news. I knew those pics were very wrong in color. Sure, the phone as well as the Watch have a "pink-ish" tone to them, they are called "ROSE" gold after all, but this rose gold iPhone is not gender specific like some of the usual anti-Apple people tried to make it sound.

On the flip side, it's good to see that the new iPhones are very strong, but my iPhone 6 Plus never bent and I've had it for a year now, and I don't baby it.

Well I'm glad to see that they've shown that the laws of physics still apply since the release of the iPhone 6s...

Honestly all these 'lets wreck a perfectly good device to get hits on YouTube' are disgusting. I refuse to give them any clicks.
Well sadly your refusal to give them clicks is as much of a loss to them as some people that just prefer an Android phone to an iPhone. It's no real loss to Apple. People love YouTube videos that are destructive, negative and controversial. That's why the Prank videos have some of the highest subscriptions. They are making $$$.

Thanks for transcribing the content. I'm not watching that.:eek::(

Anyway. Yay. Glad to know the changes helped.

You should totally watch it. The guy is cute, says "al-loo-min-ee-um" with an Aussie accent, AND when the second guy joins the test, there's awesome porn background music. Solid entertainment.

Oh, OK.
Should I buy a piece of metal and stick it at the back of my iPhone to prevent Bendgate happen?

Not judging by the anecdotal evidence in the video. Actually the MR article underplays the difficultly they had in bending it finally. One bloke was going full throttle on it and shaking and it still didn't bend. Well done Apple on fixing this issue.

And I've also owned every iPhone and mine is not bent, and none of my friends' is bent, so nix the name-calling and perhaps accept that you and your three friends are not the center of the universe and that perhaps you are just sloppy.

I have carried my 6 Plus in my front pocket for almost a year now. I've sat on it in my back pocket a few times, one of the kids stepped on it while it was on the couch, and I've fallen asleep reading an iBook and woke up on top of it on more than one occasion. It is perfectly straight.

I did see the BendGate videos last year, and do believe some people legitimately bent their phones by putting them in tight pants pockets and then sitting down... but the risk was obviously exaggerated greatly. I suspect there were plenty of competitors paying people to buy unlocked devices and then bend the heck out of them just to affect sales (though, in retrospect, it sure didn't affect them much).

I do appreciate the new phone being stronger, but I hate the additional .7 ounces for the Plus. I know that mostly comes from the 3D touch screen, but still, it's a little hard to accept the new phone will be noticeably heavier than my current model.

4K video + 12 MP live photos + 4 GB apps = 16gigabytegate for the 6s.
16GB will become totally useless for iPhone 6s series. To fill it up. simply take multiple pictures or a short 4K video.

I hope, Apple could increase entry level capacity to 32GB, although I will always go to the maximum I can get when I change/buy a phone.

32 isn't enough. 64 is the real base model. Apple is doing customers a favor by not having a 32. Too many would pick it and run out of storage. With this tier people will naturally select 64. These days 32 is waaaay too small

My iPhone 6+ has a VERY slight bend...if I didn't upgrade yearly I'd take it in since the bottom corners are VERY slightly lifted. Nothing that affects performance, but could with time.

If I put my phone face down and push on one corner, the other corner of the phone lifts up slightly. It does not do the same when i apply pressure on the other corners.

I never sat on it in a back pocket under my 190 lb 5'11 frame, but even in a front pocket of tighter jeans perhaps that's how it occurred. My only guess...
