When did Christopher Walken start working at T-Mobile?

Who woulda thought? A cell phone's killer feature is actually better cell service!
I have been a long time t-mobile customer and they have pretty good service in my city. But who doesn't want a better signal? This pushes me over the top in wanting the 6s.

Instead of paying $20 for 18 months, I wish I could just plop down my $360 + $164 = $524 all at once and walk out of the store.

Why couldn't you? You are allowed to leave Jump On Demand early.

I love this guy. First video I have watched of him addressing customers, I love him. I love how he calls out Verizon and Att, and I love how he addresses the issues. No BS.

The Verizon one looks to be the best, it's unlocked as are all Verizon 4g phones and it has the most bands.

yes, all except band 30... which is an att thing, which i will *NEVER* switch to. yes, it looks like it changed... iphone 6/+, the best iphone for most possible bands was the sprint one (if you could get it DSU'ed)... now verizon and sprint seem to have the best ones. verizon comes unlocked out of the box, sprint is a big pain in the a**.

Before calling people names, perhaps you should do some research. T-Mobile is the fourth carrier in the U.S. because they have the worst service. Americans choose Verizon and AT&T because they provide good to excellent coverage. T-Mobile has to have cheaper prices in order to attract customers.

I didn't call anyone names, and who is anyone, is it you? But is you you or everybody's else's someone else?

I'll be pleasantly shocked if T-Mo's LTE coverage actually looks like that map "projects" by the end of 2015. If that map turns out to be a reality, T-Mo will be a viable alternative to AT&T and Verizon for many people for the first time ever.

I'm french, but if was American I would be on T-Mobile. How stupid can people be to be on Verizon or AT&T (especially knowing that they steal or your data to sell them to advertisers or give them to the NSA?)

Come to US, try to drive between two cities, there is nothing but desert for roughly 100 miles (160 km), and I would really consider that a short drive. If you are with T-mobile, you are out of luck. If you are visiting a small town, good luck with a map and a up-to-date tourist book, because you are not going to be using your phone.

T-mobile is great overall, but the coverage of Verizon/ATT is just better.

Is this guy for real? I'm going to look into switching from Verizon if T has decent coverage. Just home my IP6 has the right GSM bands. Bet it doesn't

Is anyone able to find a list of those 170 Extended Range LTE markets? Or what the additional markets are that it hopes to reach by the end of the year?

The wireless landscape looks a lot different in the U.S. than it does in France. For starters, the U.S. carriers have a ton more land mass to cover than the carriers do in France. The reason most people choose AT&T and Verizon over T-Mobile is coverage and reliability. Period. Most rational people would prefer to have service through a carrier that actually has coverage when they're on a trip as opposed to staring at "No Service" or "E" (Edge/2G service) for hundreds of miles.

"...did you see that they increased their fees again with a $15 activation fee for their upgrade program? Seriously ridiculous. This is the checked-bag fee of the wireless industry..."

Best line of the video.

Guys, do not jump into too much conclusion yet.

check the coverage map and zooms into the map for clarity. Metro areas always had good coverage for t-mobile. there some areas only partner coverage.

again, they are improving coverage as fast as they can.

Love these guys... at least they are keeping AT&T and Verizon on their toes! If they have coverage in my area — which is remote — I'd consider switching.

They're really not keeping the Big Two on their feet... AT&T and Verizon are really the only go-to phones for businesses, travelers, commuters and folks in rural areas. If I didn't travel for work and lived in a city with good T-Mobile coverage, I'd consider it, since with the added price of AT&T Next, I'll soon be paying about the same that I do for car insurance for my mobile phone service.

as a TMo subscriber, this is the only reason for me to upgrade this year.
Let's hope I can get more bars in some areas and inside buildings!

I've got another year left on my Verizon contract, but as I laid out in an earlier post I think it's most cost-effective and easier for me to do Apple's new yearly upgrade plan. This will get me off contract with Verizon in a year and I can shop around for some cheaper alternatives. I'm glad that T-Mobile seems to be playing catch-up with regard to coverage and speed. I don't know how they compare with customer service but Verizon has been way better than AT&T—the only issue is they're a little pricey.

So I'll see if I can pick up a sim card towards the end of next summer and test-drive the T-Mobile network then. I appreciate that they've been shaking up the mobile industry. I know some people might say that Verizon will have their 5G ready before T-Mobile, but for the vast majority of Americans LTE is already as fast as their WiFi. We don't need a 1Gbit wireless line to our phone. Maybe someday but not anytime soon. Although I wouldn't mind a 1Gbit line to my Mac lol.

Quesetion - Is this the only phone that can see the 700mhz increased coverage? Maybe thats why sensorly still shows bad coverage in most areas? Do any android phones already have this capability?

It looks like Apple is now offering only 2 models...one with CDMA and one without. The CDMA one seems to not include LTE band 30....is that a big loss? If not, I would think requesting a Verizon phone Device Only would get us a CDMA phone that has all the needed LTE bands and would be able to be activated on any US carrier. Is that correct?

Band 30 (and band 29) is what AT&T will be using to expand their LTE coverage. For now, (unlocked) Verizon model would be best if you want the ability to use it on any U.S. carrier.

This is fantastic news. A huge reason that I'll be upgrading from the 6 to the 6s Plus is for Band 12 which is available in my area.

700Mhz would help indoor coverage; it is not really going to improve coverage

but again t-mobile bought spectrum from verizon; if t-mobile bought those spectrum where they did not had coverage before yes it will improve.
