Cancel and order the black. Shiny is not in anymore.. matte black is the **** now.

Aesthetics preferences aside, I'm curious to hear from other jet black purchasers about whether they are worried or not about the scratching and smudging.

That's vary because I got two perfect scene . It was me and someone else on here named 313 or somethings.

Same phone model 128 gb rose gold plus.

Mine showed backorder for about 1-2 hrs and then it shipped while his didn't shipped till last late night around 10. So he's took about 12 hrs or so.

That was me. Mine showed backordered early yesterday afternoon and then around 10 or so it finally changed to shipped. So hopefully that means you're will ship soon too!

Im just throwing a really good quality clear case on mine...in a year the phone will be going back for the 7s or the 8 anyway...

I woke up at the time the preorders started... i initially ordered the jet black.. i changed my mind bcs of how easiyly it scratches. I cancelled and ordered the matte

Quick reprieve from shipping talks, any jet black people not worried about the scratching? If my JB 128GB 7 doesn't get here tomorrow, I'm seriously considering canceling my order and just getting the matte black because of all of the wear issues. But I just wonder if it's really blown out of proportion or not. Fingerprint smudging and normal scratches (like the iPhone 3g or 4 models) don't really bother me, but people make it sound like if you fart your phone will get a huge scratch and it'll ruin the phone.

If it would be ruined easily, I bet apple would get so many returns and lose money! So I think it should be fine from normal use.

Im super picky with my cases lol..i dont like the bulk i got the spigen hybrid clear case its #1 rated on amazon rn for the 7 plus. My issue is also that im going to have to do some experimenting because its my first time with such a big phone that ill have to see what case is most comfortable for me lol

Well... Now I have a situation.

My iPhone was shipped today at morning and the transaction on my bank disappeared. So I have the money back. I called to AT&T and they said me that everything's fine with my order and I will receive it tomorrow but that they don't know how that happened. I won't use that money but anyone with the same situation?

On the bank they said me that I don't have any transaction of AT&T. Neither the hold appeared :$

You're fine that initial charge is a hold to make sure there is funds in the account which automatically falls off. Once accounting gets back your order whether it's shipped or not, they will do a hard charge and take the money out of your account. Don't worry, they will get their money, they will make sure of it lol.

Couldn't care less about smudges. Worried a little more about the scratches but still no big deal. I think its the best looking iPhone ever made so its worth it IMO.

It doesn't matter because this has nothing to do with at&t or their shipping system. The "charge" you are talking about isn't a CHARGE, it's a hold. This is done to make sure that the payment method you gave actually has money to cover the device. It will drop off usually after a few days. There is no actual charge on your card or account until the phone actually ships.
BTW, i'm a 2, but i'm moving more into the 1 category as I see the same things being posted over and over and over again. And i like my popcorn extra salty!!

Also just to add, my order 7+ black 32 gig is still preparing to ship, dates unchanged 10/10 - 10/27. From the 12th.
