I ordered at the store. You should have received an email with order confirmation. The process is no different if you ordered through the store or online.

Same here, 128gb Matte Black. Ordered at 3:04am EST! Not a huge deal if it doesn't come tomorrow, but definitely praying!!
anyone else notice that it the shipment notifications rolling in to this forum are climbing the ladder from low capacity low demand models steadily on up to high demand high capacity? That might not seem terribly odd, but I find it to be interesting as...if they have them, they have them, no reason to process packages in that order. But they are. Or so it seems.
Just an update. My family ordered 6 phones, all Plus models. So far only the Gold 128 GB (mine) and the Rose Gold 128 GB (my cousin's) has shipped. The other 4 are Matte Black 256 GB. We all ordered within the first 30 minutes of the pre-order window. We were all given 9/23 to 9/30 shipping estimates. I'll update if any of the Matte Blacks ship!
On another note, my Gold Plus will be here tomorrow. This is my first iPhone. Any recommendations on what to do first? Cool tricks, customizations, short cuts, settings changes?

Yup. Mine has said back ordered since early last night. And i had my order confirmation prior to 3am EST.
Me! Ordered early and completed at 2:47am ET. Still "Preparing to Ship" since that day..

lol i would never touch/ buy any accessory from att with a 10 foot pole. They rip and overcharge.
you can buy directly from otterbox (that case for so cheap plus you get 10%off discount with freeshipping also , same goes for zagg ) bestbuy with amazon price match.
I haven't seen ANY 256 ship yet, could be wrong, but haven't seen any in this thread...
Yeah I highly doubt we're getting them now. They probably had 10 to ship and the folks that said got the delivery notification probably got all the ones AT&T have lol
I was worried for a bit but I primarily use all my phones with a case. I'm extremely careful with my devices so I don't anticipate much of a problem. If anything I might opt for a screen protector this time around; something I haven't used since I had an iPhone 4.
