I have ordered every single pre-order since the 4 (Never ordered an S model). Every single time the phones came on the launch date or way earlier then the original quoted date. Everyone chill out. Apple has to give date ranges because they can not control all variables like bad weather, supply chain issues etc. Just chill and stop hitting refresh. Do something productive. :)

Thinking of getting rid of this insurance I added, Funny I work for a cell phone repair shop so I could fix it myself though I'd prefer the applecare to get the screen fixed, don't want a refurb from at&t if I crack the screen.

I'm in the same situation. My MB 128GB 7 got to Memphis at 4:57 a.m. yesterday and hasn't moved since. When I saw that it was still there this morning I was hoping it was just a glitch in updating the system and that my phone would be delivered this morning. With your information I'm fairly confident I won't see it until next week. I have a real issue with FedEx saying they can't meet demand because of the volume...a lot of these phones have been sitting in Ft. Worth since last Saturday. How can they be surprised a week later about the volume?!?
 
If I go to a store and they have the iPhone 7 I want, would they be able to cancel my order right away so I can use the upgrade?
 
Hi everyone! I'm a lurker and decided to join in with the sorrow and sadness.

Ordered a 256GB JB I7+ on 9/9 at 3:20am EST. Still "Preparing to ship". Ordered my mom's 128GB RG I7+ on Apple on 9/9 at 3:40am EST. She'll get hers on Monday. Just got her shipping confirmation this morning. To say I'm salty is an understatement lol.

OMG People, It's just a phone. Six months from now there will be another one, and then next September probably an all new model. There are people who went to bed last night without food or a real place to live. There are people in war torn countries wondering if they'll ever be able to see their family again, there are people who are battling cancer and other deadly illnesses. Yes I was up at 2:00 am in NY waiting till I could order at 3am, yes I placed my order at 3:04 expecting I'd get one of the first phones, but come on - it's just a phone. I have a 6S+ that probably less then a year old - I'll live.

In the mean time, spend today loving your family and being grateful that you're biggest problem is a stupid phone.

Yes, basically everyone that orders JB 256 Plus from AT&T got these dates. Way before you and way after me. It is a total crapshoot. It is not looking like they ever intended to ship these until next week.

Exactly. They always knew. But in the end it's an Apple issue - not really AT&T. Apple chooses the supply chain and allocation of phones to carriers.

I really wouldn't have believed it possible… and didn't when I started this thread last week… But for the first time since iPhone 2G I won't have a phone on launch day. Epic fail, Apple! Epic fail!

Mine departed Memphis at 4:20 AM for Tulsa. I consider myself lucky. Such a late departure I was wondering if it was going to happen at all!
