Has ATT corporate or any of the high ups came out with a statement or anything of that regard about all of their customer's frustrations?

Hats off to Target and BB for caring about their customers. ATT would probably fold before they did something proactive in the world of customer service...
You can say that again.

iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Matte Black - Preparing to ship
Order date: 09/09/2016 at 3:00:04 a.m. ET
I'm curious how many 7+ 128GB MB were shipped by AT&T. I know I didn't get mine. And it seems like a lot of people didn't get theirs.

Is this the only way we can get these phones - I mean Samsung doesn't have these issues and phones prior to iPhone didn't have backorders and delayed shipping. How can we get out of this cycle? Because the best way to get your phone early is to indeed pre-order, but when that doesn't work what other option do you have?

Here's another idea.

Take this thread's history of order statements and compile them into a timeline. Then, analyze who got shipped when and observe their corresponding order time frame. The results of this analysis would show the optimum time to actually make a preorder.

Without doing the hard work of the above analysis, I'd suspect that ordering at any time prior to 12:01am PT or for up to approximately 6 hours forward, your orders don't necessarily ship sooner.

Anyone enterprising, there's the beginning of a project for you. Just give me credit when it becomes famous!
that would great idea, if AT&T was not so successful at coming up with a new way to screw up each year.

Anybody who has paid attention knows they mess up pre-orders, I'm not sure why people are so surprised.

Samsung doesn't have the demand that iPhone does for individual models.

Easy to get logistics right when you're building more than people want to buy

I feel the same way.. My access fee is only $15 a month but if I change my plan to the lower rates for more gb of data that they off my access fee goes up to $20 its a standard fee that they charge now for every new device to have service on your plan.

Thanks for your reply. It just feels sleazy to me to get my hopes up and then say "oh by the way". And I apologize for posting in this thread but I do appreciate the replies I've received!!

Pittsburgher here as well. 2 7+ 256GB, one JB (9/30-10/7) and one RG (9/23-9/30). Zilch.

love that my wifes 7p rg 32gb is sitting here on the table when she ordered it 2 days after i ordered my 128 plus MB on day 1. i might not be so pissed if someone from at&t would come out and admit they messed up and let us know how they are trying to fix it. but i highly doubt that will ever happen

Or those private customers with a a business association. Improved customer service, and ordering as well. It is worth looking into whether your company or your former University has a relationship. Not just for the discount but also for the better service
